The Best Western suite was roomy, comfortable and clean. It might use a little touch-up here and there, but it's a solid four-star hotel, and a very good value. Breakfast was fine, particularly including the pancakes. This was our second stay, and we'll be coming back next time in LA.

Hotel's Favourite
I spent a week at this hotel when I was visiting my daughter. The room was large (with a reading chair & ottoman), quiet, clean & comfortable. With someone at the front desk 24 hours & cameras in the parking area, I felt safe, even coming back late in the evening. The pool is small but it was nice to cool off in the afternoon. The hotel is just a block from the Metro & I was able to get to the Santa Monica Pier in 10 minutes for just $1.75 and without having to deal with the parking hassle & expense. The location - right next to the 405 & 10 freeways - was very convenient, only 15 minutes to the Getty Center! I will definitely be back.

Our son had surgery in LA on his knee and we came down from the bay area to take care of him for a few days at this hotel. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the suite and that we had a separate little living room with microwave refrigerator, couch and another TV, etc. The manager, Fred, was very accommodating and kind. The heater/AC unit in the room must’ve been worn out and making a horrible rattle sound. But It was no problem communicating this and they replaced it immediately with a brand new unit that worked wonderfully!. They also had a well supplied breakfast every morning that really came in handy. Parking was ok, but worked. Ceiling very low. The street is very busy. My husband and I take a nice walk tho a couple blocks in cute neighborhood. All the staff were very friendly. Convenient location. We would definitely stay here again when visiting.

Stayed in room 202 1/10 to 1/12 This place is in a residential area on Sepulveda bl, a very busy street . The main building has 3 floors with indoor hallways. There are other 2 story buildings. They are well-maintained. The place was clean and safe and the staff was great. Fred should run for president. The street was noisy, but not at night.Internet, plumbing, hvacal all worked well The garage is a carport under the building .Some of the spaces did not have much headroom . There were spaces for larger vehicles. The garage was the only part of the hotel that not cosmetically appealing Parking is $11 a day with in and out privileges. I would not recommend parking on the street. You can steal and vandalize ,but I pity the fool who violates parking rules. They ticket and tow aggressively The lobby had complimentary water, fruit, and newspapers. There was an ice and vending machine, and travel coupons. The breakfast would make healthy eaters cringe. It was tasty and well- maintained by a cheerful attendant. There were cooked eggs, pancakes, sausage and assorted breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, and beverages The outdoor pool was not heated this time of year. The jacuzzi was. The basement had a small gym and guest laundry, Pets are not allowed The room had comfy beds, a desk and dresser, phone, clock, iron, safe, and tv. There were 2 spacious closets .Plenty of plugs The bathroom was small. It had a hairdryer. The vanity area was not separate. No tub, just a walk in shower. There was a sitting room with a sofa bed, tv,cofeemaker, fridge, and microwave There was a balcony with a view of the street and a beautiful garden This place is cheap by LA standards. You can pay twice as much and not get the great staff, location , and amenities as this place. Join the rewards club and get special rates and points you can use for stays at other BW locations. This is the best BW You can drive or use ride share to get around LA .This place has location, location, location .Traffic can be bad and parking non existent and expensive Below is a guide for public transportation LAX is 10 miles away .Hotel has no shuttle You need to take a shuttle from LAX to the transit Ctr. From there take Culver City bus 6 . It will stop by the hotel and continue to Westwood and UCLA. This bus also connects to east west buses on major streets .At UCLA you can connect to the SF valley. Going to SOFI or The Forum ? Take number 6 south and connect to an eastbound bus on Century Bl Going to Redondo Beach? Take the same number 6 south to the Green Line .This line goes to Redondo to the west, Norwalk to the east The Green line has a shuttle to LAX It’s a very short ride west on the Expo train Santa Monica where you can go the amusement park on the pier, go to the beach, or rent bikes or go skating There is shopping and dining at the mall . Go east to Exposition Park where you visit USC , the Coliseum, Soccer Stadium , some great museums and a beautiful garden The next stop you can watch USC teams compete at the Galen Ctr Get off at Pico and visit the Convention Ctr The Arena next store is home to the Kings, Lakers,Clippers, and Sparks . Across the street, Microsoft theater hosts concerts .LA Live is Times Square West It has outside ice skating due the holidays The Grammy Museum is there At the Pico stop you can transfer to the Blue line to Long Beach where you visit the aquarium or take a boat to Catalina When you return to the hotel make sure you get on the Santa Monica train and not Long Beach The trains look the same Expo ends at 7 th st You can take the Red Line west to Hollywood, Universal City, NoHo Arts district. Connect there for the Orange Line to Canoga Park Go East to Union Station where you connect to Amtrak ,Metrolink, buses, El Monte Busway and the Gold Line .Gold Line runs 1 way to East LA and another way to Chinatown, Pasadena ,Santa Anita racetrack and points east Walk out the station and go to Olvera St where LA began. The Dodgers offer a free shuttle on game days from Union station Not much stuff that is close enough to walk to from the hotel You can drive south on Sepulveda to the iconic Tito’s tacos. I was surprised to find a Sizzler. They have a great salad bar .Shakeys Pizza still has the bunch of lunch and mojo potatoes There is a mall across the street Walk 5 minutes to the Expo line and catch Metro 761 to the Getty Museum Admission is free Great art, city views, beautiful garden Go west for a short ride on the Expo line to Santa Monica Enjoy the beach, the pier and shopping and dining

Served our purpose. We were in town for a conference, so not at the hotel much. The room was large, but the bathroom was so, so tiny! The room was clean, but well worn. Bed was new and comfy. Breakfast was good. Internet was intermittent; the manager said it was not very robust and needed to be rebooted. So if the internet is not working call the front desk. Staff was very friendly.

This is a nice less expensive hotel option in a sea of expensive hotels. The staff is great, free breakfast, and a location that is close to may things in LA. The rooms could use some updates, but the beds were very comfortable. The staff is what really makes this place stand out as they were very attentive and friendly.
