From The Tower, built in 1927, where Gable and Lombard lived, to The Cabanas, vintage 1950s, where Marilyn Monroe lived, guests have two distinct accommodations options. The Tower has undergone a 25 million dollar renovation designed by Yabu Pushelberg. The Tower rooms have larger work desks and are suited for guests traveling on business or with families. The Cabanas are just footsteps from the renowned David Hockney pool and the Tropicana Pool Cafe. The Cabanas are suited for guests looking for an entertaining and lively Hollywood experience.

My wife & I recently stayed at The Hollywood Roosevelt & had a wonderful time. We have stayed a few times previously & even though we loved our stays on those occasions, this trip was even better. The room was spacious & very clean, the staff were great & it has an amazing location on Hollywood Boulevard. This is always our go to hotel whilst in Los Angeles & it has never let us down.

Went to thanksgiving dinner here and the food was delicious. The best part though was when the security guard, Cody, gave us a private tour of the hotel. He went above and beyond for us! He showed us secret rooms, told us all about the various events that have gone on there (including the first Oscars) and more. I would go back just to see Cody.

the best oasis in Hollywood with the most fabulous pool !!! I have stayed here twice now and the staff are just amazing. Our room had a view of the hollywood sign - our beds and huge shower were fantastic and the front desk and bell staff are just brilliant. We love it here and can't wait to come back. Chanel will take care of you at the front desk and Miranda will take care of you at the Pool :)

After having an amazing stay last Spring Break with friends and family, my daughter and I decided to stay here again because we flew in to see Ellie Goulding at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. As unbelievable as that show was, the magic was at the Roosevelt Hotel. We were given gifts and an upgraded room upon our arrival due to it being my daughters birthday. We asked if a tour of the rooftop was available and they arranged for Bellhop Timothy to take us up. He showed us around and told us the story of how the lone rooftop room was once home to a Hollywood Mayor back when the Hotel was built. The next morning we went down to the pool and the Tropicana waitress treated us like royalty, so we stayed at the pool for most of the day. Both of the times I've stayed there I felt like I was at home. We will definitely be going back.

Greetings Mark, Welcome to paradise! It was lovely to host you again at the Roosevelt after discovering us with friends and family last spring. We are so glad we remained top-of-mind for this return visit, and we are glad you loved the show. We do indeed strive to provide magic of our own at our iconic hotel, and we are delighted we delivered yet again! It was our pleasure to ensure a tour of our rooftop was provided, and we will share your compliments with our team at Tropicana as well. We can't wait to see you all again! Best, Don Jacinto, Managing Director

We stopped at the Hollywood Roosevelt and struck up a nice conversation with one of the security ambassadors, Cody. What a genuinely kind person. He shared a lot of the history of the hotel, and even took us on some quick tours of the more interesting and historic features.

My wife and I booked this hotel for our anniversary trip and we were underwhelmed. The location was great but that's about it. We had a King room and it was very small. There was no dresser in the room and the drawers on the side tables barely held our socks. The closet was small so we had to drape pants over a chair and stack clothes on a small shelf and safe in the closet. For me the most surprising thing was there was no coffee available at the hotel until 6:30 A.M. I am an early riser and I couldn't believe this. A small single serve coffee maker in the room would have made a big difference. There is a coffee shop right across the street but they didn't open until 5:30 A.M. Coffee is the one amenity every hotel should have even if we have to pay for it. The hotel rate seemed very reasonable for our location until we realized there was a "Destination Fee" and parking was $65.00 night...yes $65.00 per night. Well we tried it but never again.

Dear Joseph, It is always disappointing to know we have let a guest down, and we are sorry to learn that you and your wife felt underwhelmed by your anniversary stay. We have noted your desire for coffee service earlier in the morning, and we are sorry you were not aware of our standard destination fee and parking fee before your arrival, as we strive to ensure this information is transparent on our website. We wish you and your wife the best, and we hope you find just the right accommodations for your next anniversary celebration, even if it is not with us. Kindly, Don Jacinto, Managing Director

Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everything you need or enough amenities on property that you can just chill on property. Loved all the history and loved that we were in walking distance to an in and out burger.

The staff at The Hollywood Roosevelt is really amazing. Everyone always had a smile on their face and was always asking if they could do anything for us. I love the fact that they have restaurants and activities right at the hotel. That actually helped with some down time we had. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time I am in LA.

We have stayed at the Hollywood Roosevelt 5 times, and each time has been special. This includes memorable stays in the Marilyn Monroe Suite and the Montgomery Clift room. The history of the hotel is palpable from the time you walk in until the time you leave. If you're looking for a Golden Age of Hollywood experience, this is the place to go. The food and beverage options are fantastic (the breakfast patty melt at 25 Degrees is a fave), and amenities like the bars, pool, and Spare Room are awesome. One person that has made each of our stays extra special is Bobby the security guard. He is always welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and its history. When we book a stay, we always look forward to getting to see Bobby. There are many places to stay in Hollywood, and for less money. But we keep coming back to the Roosevelt for its history, the quality of service, and the glitz and the glamor that remain from a bygone era of the classic film stars. You get what you pay for after all, and if you want a stellar experience that will leave you smiling, then the Roosevelt is more than worth the price of admission.
