We stayed in the Family Suite on the first floor. It has a cute little one bedroom off the side of the king bedroom. This was perfect for our 5 yr old that was worried about how things would work on this vacation. Glass double doors between with blinds so it feels very connected, yet let us stick to his bedtime and then we could sit out on the private patio and enjoy the birds. The view is peaceful. We were told ground floor can be a little noisy but we didn't notice. It was so nice. We do travel often and love to stay at bed n breakfasts like this. This place was much quieter than most. We loved the charming coastal feel. It was very clean. I have animal and dust allergies and felt great here. The food was delicious. Honestly gained a couple pounds from the wonderful wine, cheese, pastries and omelets. We will be making this one of our regular vacation spots now.

A lovely inn, with very comfortable, well-equipped bedrooms and large, well-lit, attractive public spaces (dining room, living room, outdoor patio, etc.). Most important, the staff is always available and always incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast and parking are included in the room rate, and the proximity to LAX, Marina del Rey, Manhattan Beach, etc., make this a wonderful place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days at the end of March. The staff were incredible - very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were lovely - we had a king size bed with balcony overlooking the wetlands preserve. It was such a treat to sit outside and watch the birds, listen to the frogs and hear the waves and sea lions off in the distance. The food for breakfast every morning was terrific (homemade egg dishes and breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal), and the coffee was excellent and plentiful. Late afternoon/early evenings they served wine and snacks. The sitting rooms and balcony’s throughout the Inn were lovely to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. We will definitely visit again - a lovely place to relax, read a book and enjoy your surroundings.

I’ve stayed several times, always in one of the Marina rooms. My first time was on the 2nd floor and after I discovered room 306 I’ve requested that one. They are of different styles and I just preferred the higher floor for the view but the other room was lovely as well. It’s comfortable and not cookie cutter modern like the Marriott in nearby Marina Del Rey. If you want perfect modern then go there but if you want charm and staff who are genuinely nice then come to the Inn. The breakfasts are great and I’m not usually a breakfast eater. In the afternoon they have a picnic tray and since we are never there for that they save it for us at the front desk. I have only been there during COVID so housekeeping doesn’t come into your room, as is ask in all hotels I’ve been to, but all you need to do is text what you want and they leave it outside your door for you. The location is great because it’s a short walk to Tanner Coffee for great craft stuff or down to Playa Provisions for always wonderful food from Brooke Williamson, There’s a really good takeout taqueria down the street and a liquor store with anything you want to munch on, I always stay on the Marina side because the water is visible in the distance with the boats but mostly it’s just a quiet nature preserve with frogs and birds. It’s where I plan to bring any visiting relatives on their first California visit,

Really wonderful property in PDR. So clean and nicely decorated. Rooms are really reflective of the photos on their website. The breakfast always included a homemade warm option (egg casserole, or french toast) plus pastry type, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt and berries, cereal. Lovely wine and cheese picnic for pick up in later afternoon.

Our room was substandard. The common rooms all in good condition. But room 203 had glass broken and filthy windows, mold in bathroom, and worn dirty carpets. We spent 4 nights at this hotel. Our last day at the hotel there were some open empty rooms next to us on our floor and we discovered the other rooms were far more pleasant and clean than ours. The hotel was mostly empty when we checked in during the week. I am sorry I didn’t ask for another room. On the plus side the breakfast was very good.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your recent stay. Had we known you were so disappointed in your room, we would have done everything we could have to move you to a different room. We are very sorry. Room #203 is at the top of our list for room improvements, including a new window and new flooring. We're confident these changes will bring it to the level our guests have come to expect and make it a future guest favorite,

We very much enjoyed being someplace more quiet even though you are so close to LAX, Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica. Inn is very peaceful and surrounded by natural wetlands. Short walk to the beach and walking trail. Rented a bike up the street and went for a 20 mile ride on the beach to Redondo. A few very good restaurants and coffee shops right down the street as well. The complimentary breakfast is terrific. We will be back.

we loved our stay here; the staff are very helpful, genuine and friendly. The room we had was delightful; light, airy, comfortable and great views over the wetlands. The happy hour wine and cheese 'picnic' is a really nice touch. We also really liked the breakfasts; instead of the usual chain hotel mediocre buffet there was a different soufflé and home made bread (e.g. pumpkin, apple/walnut etc) brought to you in the dining room freshly made every day, as well as fresh fruit, granola and yoghurt. Nice location too; we enjoyed walking along the Playa del Rey as well as biking and hiking to Santa Monica. all in all we loved it - and would live there if we could!

This is a little gem in L.A! The location makes it seem like you are somewhere else since there isn't a home in the back of the home for about 1km...just scenic marsh. The breeze coming into the living room is soooo relaxing. The hotel is very clean inside and out. Everyone we met there was very nice, professional, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable. Very nice folks! There were nice eateries within walking distance as was the beach. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Great Place!
