The hotel's atmosphere is often described as comfortably quiet, with stylish decor and spacious rooms that serve well for both relaxation and work. Detailed Reviews
This hotel is a few minutes east of LAX with a shuttle that is circulating almost continuously. Take the escalator outside of baggage claim to the second level and find a red hotel shuttle sign. We were lucky and only had to wait a few minutes for the hotel shuttle.
We arrived 3 hours before check in time but Derek(probably misspelled) greeted us warmly, took my cell phone and called when our room was ready. Excellent front desk!
The hotel is modern, clean, and updated. Our room had a great walk in shower, which is very much appreciated! Firm, comfortable bed.
The included breakfast was the normal faire. No complaints there.
Be aware that you will hear street noise from Century Blvd and the sounds of jets taking off from the airport.
There are several choices for food and drink nearby.
We will stay here again on any overnights at the airport.

This is a wonderful hotel, just delightful and thoughtful at every turn. Airport hotels are usually a bare-bones necessity but we stayed here twice in one week and it was so comfortable and comforting both times. The rooms are enormous and so thoughtfully appointed with *everything* you could need - wine glasses, dish soap, clean new microwaves, huge TVs, dish towels. The housekeeper even built a little pyramid out of three perfectly rolled facecloths - which I know is a weird thing to mention but it was just such an unexpected touch at a hotel you would expect to merely be functional. The staff was so kind to us and made our two year old girl very comfortable, they went above and beyond to help us when they were short staffed. I will stay here whenever I come to LAX.

The room was clean, and so were the public areas. The temperature controls worked well. We had the robot butler deliver snacks to the room and our son enjoyed that.
No plane noise in our room, nor any noise from Century Blvd (we were on the tenth floor), nor any noise from other guests.
The hotel seems to be letting people park in the check-in/check-out parking spots for more than ten minutes — a problem given that space is very tight as this hotel and the guest parking is in a garage in the back.

When we arrived everything was great. Staff was polite throughout the whole visit, however there were several issues. We were told we would get fresh towels each night and housekeeping everyday. We never got housekeeping throughout our 3 night stay and had to ask were to throw out our own trash and get our own towels each day. This is all fine if it’s COVID policy but you have to mention that to guests. When we mentioned it first, we were told no worries housekeeping comes every night they must have missed you. Then when we mentioned it the next day we were told housekeeping dosen’t come due to COVID. Our room smelled like marijuana through the nights as people near our room had to of been smoking. Again, all good I get were in LA but we had our 12 year old daughter with us, don’t recommend this place for families. Parking is ridiculous but you don’t have another option so I don’t think that’s the hotels fault. For the price of the hotel I think we would’ve gotten better service elsewhere, too bad the staff was so nice.

Skala2121 - thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your recent stay with us, and we're sorry to hear that you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. Due to COVID-related safety protocols, we do not offer daily housekeeping services, which is noted at the front desk during check in. We have shared your comments with our team to ensure that this is communicated to all guests when at the front desk. We hope that you will consider staying with us again should your travels bring you back to the LAX area. Stay safe, Chris

I have stayed here several times especially to stay here to go to the BTS concert. It is the best place and quiet. I would highly recommend it.
There's a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back.
There's a robot to bring stuff to your room if needed.
They serve breakfast and they require vaccination and Masks.
I would recommend staying here again if you can.
The laundry is free and remember to take your own laundry detergent and fabric softener.

Had a wonderful stay at residence inn Marriott LAX. Please please don’t take the yellow cab as it is extremely expensive not worth it!!! It’s best to use UBER for getting around L.A. I was a bit disappointed with the cost of the the extra night I spend in the hotel. I booked to check out on Tuesday instead of Wednesday long and behold I was charged $178 dollars for the extra night which I think is extremely expensive and harsh considering that I was in their hotel for 3 days. Prior to this i was charged $160 which I think they should have just matched this rate to say the list!!!!!!!
The hotel is clean, specious and the breakfast is really good.

Tasha c - we appreciate your time in posting comments about your recent stay with us. We understand that sometimes hotel stays can run longer than originally planned, and we were happy that we could accommodate your extension. Rates are set for individual days, and your additional night happened to be priced a little higher at that time. We enjoyed having you on property, and hope to see you again should your travels bring you back to the LAX area. Best, Chris

We are Bonvoy Ambassador Elite members and travel all the time. I also have used this app to book hotel rooms for my family without any problem. I made a reservation for my elderly parents, my dad is 85 and has to walk with a cane, and as they tend to be frugal and prefer to stay at military hotels that are $60/night, I told them I used points and that they could stay at a nicer hotel. I NEVER wanted them to find out what I was paying because they would be upset. However, this hotel ruined all of this and refused to allow my parents to stay here unless THEY paid for the room. When my Mom called, she kept offering to just pay it herself and I could tell how embarrassed she and my Dad were. Finally, after refusing any solutions we could come up with, the hotel made my old parents walk down the busy Century Boulevard with their suitcases in tow to a Marriott that WOULD accept them and allow us to pay using the credit card on file with the Bonvoy app.
The GM of this hotel, Katy Green, should be ashamed and embarrassed at how she treated a Veteran Naval Officer who can barely walk. She didn’t even both to get on the phone with us but had other Managers handle this situation. She and the Owner of this Franchise should be cut from the Bonvoy/Marriott program as they don’t begin to qualify for the level of service and human decency we experience at all other hotels in this category. I hope she finds another career because Hotel Management and Customer Care are NOT her skill set.

Jennifer D – thank you for taking the time to share your experience at my hotel. Words can’t express how terribly I feel after reading your post. My grandfather is a Purple Heart veteran and my father served as well. I sympathize with how stressful this must have been for you and your parents, and I’m sorry that we didn’t do better for them. Please know that I’m addressing this with my staff directly to make sure they are properly trained to handle these situations. I’ve also reached out to you privately so that I can learn more of your experience and make this right. I hope to hear from you soon. Respectfully, Katie Green General Manager, Residence Inn LAX

TL;DR: Night staff are rude, outright hostile, avoid last minute bookings or late night check in/out.
Called the reservations line to make a booking at 3AM for that same night due to a flight delay. Finally arrived at the hotel at 4AM to be told the hotel was fully booked. I tried to tell the staff member that I had a booking that was just confirmed, but he refused to look up my name or credit card. Reservations line were supposed to send a confirmation email of my hotel booking but I hadn't received it, so I called them back. They tried to call the hotel to confirm, but the front desk staff member refused to pick up the phone even though I told him it was his reservations line. Once I got the reservations line to give me the booking confirmation number verbally, there was a room magically available on a booking the front desk alleged "only just came through". If we had believed him, we would have had to go to a different hotel at 4AM on a rainy and cold winter night. I have never had a hotel staff member flat out refuse to look up a booking, and have never been told a hotel was fully booked to then magically be given a room 20 minutes later. The front desk staff member never apologised, never admitted any mistakes, just kept maintaining that I didn't call the right hotel and that because he hadn't "spoken to me directly" there was no way he could have checked that I had, in fact, had a room booking. Room itself was big and clean, reeked of weed but otherwise was ok, but the outright hostility of the front desk staff during a difficult night for everyone involved was the big negative highlight of the entire stay. If you must stay at an LAX airport hotel, probably avoid this one, and especially avoid it early in the morning/late at night when hotel staff CBF even letting you in.

I truly believe that customer service is not only providing a good experience, its also relaying relaying pertinent information that may be missed by the average customer. With this said, when I arrived is was asked if wanted a parking pass, which I declined because I know the surrounding areas have street parking, with certain time restrictions. Initially I wasn’t cognizant of this particular parking restrictions, and after realizing the consequences I asked for a parking pass. The additional parking fee of 40.00 was never verbally revealed at check-in, or when it was issued. When I asked about the fee the reply told was “well it’s mentioned on our website”. This is true, but the feeling of being duped remained. The agent has clearly mentioned this before, which lets me know, the lack of a verbal reminder, was purposeful, and that’s wack. I clearly would have Walked an extra 50 feet with no parking restrictions, than having to pay 40.00. My great rate at 109.00 turned into 181.00. I am to blame for this, but I won’t be going back.

R9896HQdaver - thank you for your time in posting comments about your recent stay with us, and we're sorry to hear that you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. As you mention, our parking charges are listed in all points of sale, including the confirmation email. It is our intention to inform guests of the charges when parking is needed, so the exclusion of this verbal notice was an oversight that we'll address with our team. We hope that you'll consider staying with us again should your travels bring you back to the LAX area.

This is a hard review to write – I’m not sure exactly where to begin. Some of the problems were beyond their control, but not all of them. There had been some sort of a fire the day before we arrived, so they had no power except what they could get via an external generator. The air conditioning was not working and the windows wouldn’t open. They kept saying it would be fixed but it wasn’t, and a floor fan they provided just recirculated hot stale air. There were no lights in the halls except for emergency lighting and only 1 of the 4 elevators was working. We had requested rooms on the same floor as our traveling companions, but that didn’t happen. They did finally upgrade us so that we were on the same floor. Their offer for the rest of the problems was half off parking, $25 in hotel credit, OR 2500 points - or we could go elsewhere, but they would provide no help in arranging for another hotel – totally ridiculous.
As for the rest of it – the shower only had a half wall so we flooded the bathroom every time we showered. There was good counter space for toiletries and a tolerable amount of towel hooks and bars. None of the staff were wearing name tags. Breakfast was ok and the attendants were friendly. But we had to continually ask for food to be replenished – they weren’t monitoring it at all. There was no yogurt or cereal for 2 days. No English muffins, bagels or bread for toast. We had to give an ID as a deposit for the luggage trolley – really? They checked our traveling companions out early “by accident” and they had to keep re-keying their keys almost every day. We could never get the Wi-Fi connection to work. All of the personnel were really friendly, but nothing seemed to work efficiently.
After we completed a customer satisfaction survey sent out by Hilton, the General Manager did contact us and provide some additional compensation, which we appreciated.

Sorry I take off again later the same day!
To the best of my knowledge, the parking is not free. It's a daily cost.
However, the parking is right next door in a structure next to the hotel. It's very convenient to get to.
Good afternoon! Our shuttles run 24 hours a day approximately every 20-25 minutes. From the airport, head upstairs and look for the red Hotel Courtesy Shuttle sign. Our shuttle says Airport Center, Residence Inn and Embassy Suites LAX. We look forward to hosting you!
