Convenient to LAX. Pleasant front desk staff. The hotel is “ very tired” and is in need of some major upgrades. Room was very large. Lack of outlets to plug in devices. One lamp had a build hanging out. Mirror in bathroom was distorted all around the edges. Television remote was not working properly. We stayed two nights so we had the opportunity to experience the hotel.

We go through LAX several times a year on our way to Asia and stay overnight to accommodate plane schedules. We stay at the chain hotels and generally find them decent for our 18 hour layover. This Marriott example is the same, i.e., it is clean and quiet enough so that we can sleep. The airport shuttle was okay. The staff was efficient. There is a coffee shop at ground level. We did not try the breakfast but imagine it's like any other Residence Inn with bland corporate fare offered elsewhere. The only downside for us was that Marriott gold status didn't get us any special treatment.

The outside pool and fireplace area isn't as nice as the photo shows. The fireplace was never lit, the cushions on the chairs are a bit worn and I don't remember even seeing one of the large covered chaise longue that is pictured; however, the hotel was nice. I would definitely recommend it. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the LAX airport runways. I was glad the room was not affected by the sounds of airplanes taking off during the late-night hours. The hotel free breakfast was one of the best I've had at free hotel buffets. The eggs were fresh and not over cooked. There are several places to eat near by within an easy walking distance on the same block. There is a display of crispy cream donuts in the lobby each day that are fresh and delicious. Shuttle to the airport was easy and convenient. This hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a hotel close to LAX with shuttle service to the airport. …

They have disabled the ability to write a review in other apps so I am leaving one here. Customer service was AWFUL! I had issues with my room (stains on couch and wall and hot water pressure was turned way down - resulting in very little hot water coming from either kitchen or bathroom sinks). Also, the staff did not recognize my Marriott status on checkin and put me on the second floor (with the conference rooms). It was very loud at night! There are better hotels near the airport and Marriott seems not to care about its brand that much…kind of like Delta Airlines.

I really liked my room. It was nice and roomy and bright. I also love being on a high floor and they put me on the 10th floor. I had an ADA room and the bed wasn't too high and the roll-in shower was very large. The laundry room was clean. The breakfast was good. The front desk was very helpful but standouts are Jacob and David.

Good for a one night stay when transiting at LAX. The shuttle bus was easy to use and we had a great driver who provided us with tips on driving in the US. Breakfast is average but for one night is ok. Rooms clean and comfortable. Only annoyance was the $300 US deposit they charge to your credit card

My husband & I stayed here for 1 night. We built in extra night since we weren't flying out of LAX until later the following evening. We're Bonvoy Platinum members but they don't honor early checkin. They were honoring our late checkout the next day though. We had lunch at sub shop adjacennt to hotel while waiting till about 2 pm to check in (1.5 hours). Once we got in the room, it was fine. Like other Residence Inn's - spacious rooms, counter space, appliances for heating/reheating, etc. Bed was farily comfortable and room was clean, good water pressure. I did use the pool which wasn't heated but hey it's late August and was comfortable for this New Englander. Breakfast was included, which was pretty basic but had some decent selections, just no cook to order options. We used the shuttle to get back and forth to the airport which wasn't a long ride and otherwise took Uber downtown to Walk of Fame then to Peterson car museum which we both enjoyed. …

This hotel is right next to the airport. We had a very clean room. Everything was very nice and standard. No complaints. If you have an early flight, I'd stay here and hop over to the airport. The parking is expensive though.

If you ever find yourself at LAX and the only accommodation options are the Residence Inn, you are better off either setting up camp with some of the homeless people nearby or robbing one of the liquor stores and waiting for the police to show up. The police can put you up in the county jail where the deputies and trustees will provide better customer service than the portly cretin working the weekend customer service supervisor function. If you don't like being treated like crap, don't stay here.

We had a good time at the residence inn at LAX as a family with two small kids. We encountered an issue with the first assigned room but the staff was quick to move us to a different room. Our room was big (large studio), clean and couldn’t hear anything from outside even though we had street view (I’m an extremely light sleeper so this was important for us). Breakfast is typical for this type of hotels, (scrambled eggs from box, turkey and pork sausages and tater tots with option of warm oatmeal and toppings with some fresh fruits) which is convenient when traveling with kids. Breakfast area was kept clean, and all the staff was kind and helpful. Special shout-out to Irma, Ashley and Alejandra, thanks for your kindness! The hotel offered a shuttle directly to the Sofi stadium for $50 ET per person. We didn’t take it as the bus station for bus 117 is just across the street from the hotel but the shuttle is definitely a great option for other people. Overall very good experience. …
