Straight up, Su Casa is located in a great spot. Right on the Venice Beach boardwalk. Has super friendly staff at check-in and really spacious rooms, complete with a full kitchentte. We did get an uppgrade, so not sure of all rooms. Very comfortable. Kitchen was great with a full size fridge and microwave too. Wooden floorboards were a nice...

Most friendly and helpful Manager ever, Kyle was so great with us, he helped us with our luggage and recommended the best restaurant to have dinner just a couple of doors down from Su Casa. Our overall stay was exceptional. We had an amazing view from our room, the bed was was very comfortable, and the shower was wonderful! We...

I usually stay in Santa Monica at Loews but this time decided to try out Venice instead. I could not be happier with the decision that I made. Kyle and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful! They helped my daughter book a Hollywood tour and Robert made dinner reservations for us. The room was outstanding. It was modern...

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for a night of our honeymoon and everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and accommodating and helped us find parking, as well as carried our luggage to our room. Our room faced the ocean and we had almost panoramic views of the beach, as well as being able to see the...

Ok, here is the positive: I had a room in the front of the building and the view was stunning! Woke up in the morning and the ocean in view from the bed. It doesn't get better than that! The furniture, set up, bathroom were all okay. Clean and reasonably tasteful---all good. The negative: when I arrived the room smelled...

i stayed in a studio and this isnt a bad place. The room was clean and decently appointed. This isnt a hilton or holiday inn express and dont expect that if you stay here. I found it to be just fine. Parking sucks and the wireless is pretty slow. I plan to stay again next time im in LA

My boyfriend and I stayed here 2 years ago and it was wonderful. Now, it's under new ownership, and the new owners decided to nail all the windows closed so you can't get a breath of fresh air in the place. It's ridiculous. We had planned on coming back here every couple of years but will definitely not do so...

Accommodation was clean and the beach cottage we were put in was huge. Shame there was only 2 of us as it would be great for a family or 2 or 3 couples. The area along the beach itself is a big grotty but we didn't feel unsafe. A lot of homeless people along the whole beach front which is...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
