The hotel was modern with a nice small bar attached. The room didn't have a view, only a brick wall 1 metre away from the window. The lift stopped working on the second day and didn't get fixed till the day were were leaving!! Thats 5 days walking up and down stairs and we were staying on the top floor...

I came to LA for a 4 day conference, found the room modern, comfortable, a bit small. A couple electrical outlets were worn out, no biggie, used another one. Hallways as well as room were fairly dimly lit. Very clean, I wasn't in the room much other than to sleep. the bed and pillows were comfy. The front desk staff...

Boutique hotel. Convenient to all downtown especially LA Live & Staples Center. Also, it has a cute wine bar downstairs & great eats upstairs in it's cozy bar/restaurant area. Room was right size but because it faced alleyway, it was a little dark. Free waters & windows that open. Worked for me.

Great location. Great Continental breakfast. Great access to Gold's Gym. But the walls are thin. You pick up a lot of noise from the rooms next door. No view. Confusing heater controls. For a little more money I'll choose a newer hotel next time.

Great location. Odd smell in the room, felt as a cover-up for something else. Cleaning okay and service as well. Smell aside, good size room and nice bed. Breakfast included left a lot to wish for. Gym was ok.

Was in LA for the NHL All Star game, location was perfect as it was an easy walk to the Staples Centre. I was surprised by the continental breakfast. It was nothing fancy but all I needed for breakfast. I would recommend staying here if you have an event at Staples Centre. Only thing I didn't like was how dark...

The room was clean, bed comfortable. They have a basic breakfast in the morning. The conference room is big with a long table with chairs and a computer with printer for your use. For some reason, someone thought it was a good idea to put a night club next to the hotel. All night long I heard the boom of...

The only saving grace for this hotel was it's close proximity to Staples Center. The front desk staff were rude and not professional. The hallways were dark and very depressing. The bathroom doors had a large gap and left no privacy. The rooms look a little worse for wear. We overlooked a brick wall and felt very closed in. My...

I've stayed at O Hotel a number of times for business (4-5 night stay each). They are conveniently located and, typically, reasonably priced. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are usually very clean, great bed and pillows. The bathroom wall was suspect, which was never cleaned, although I'd requested it, and the floors needed to...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
