We just spent 4 days here while visiting LA. It's the perfect budget hotel, very clean, exceptional staff, close to EVERYTHING! It's just a simple, no frills hotel. I felt safe here. Had a nice private pool, coffee maker, fast free internet, free parking, shared...More
The price of this hotel was get for the location. I was looking for something centrally located and this was perfect! So close to Hollywood, food and shopping. The room itself was what you would expect, nothing extraodinary but was perfect for coming/going and sleeping....More
Good hotel, parking is not always available. However, on the nights we were there, the staff put a reserved sign on a parking place knowing we were coming back late from a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. What a nice thing to do. Next door...More
This is well placed to enjoy the sights of Hollywood/La Brae tar pits and the Grove Mall. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel looks like a 60's motel that you see in the movies, it's a bit run down, but the staff are...More

I don't bother with I-10 & I-405 because they can be stop-and-go at almost any time except Sunday mornings. I use Fairfax and/or La Cienega. La Cienega has has a stretch which is 45-50 mph which helps save time. La Cienega also has a signs for directions to LAX as one gets closer to the airport.
