The motel is in china town, just a few meters down the street you find quite a lot of Chinese restaurants of all kinds. For everything else in LA I recommend a car, traffic is horrible but parking readily available everywhere. The motel offers parking as well, even though( we stayed for 4 nights) in the evening you might have...

Hello Nicoles: Glad you enjoyed your stay and got to know the area. There are still many shops and other restaurants just on the other side of the street that you have yet to explore. We hope to serve you again in the near future. Regards and safe travels, RPM

Needed a place at the last minute and found this. Great place, fairly cheap for LA. Great location, right in the heart of Chinatown. Rooms were nice, with hardwood floors instead of the usual gross carpet. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not really updated, but it was fine. Room comes with fridge. There is a microwave for use at the...

Sometimes when I need to stay in LA, I just want someplace clean and located close to downtown. The Royal Pagoda fits the bill perfectly! I've always found the staff to be friendly, as well as the other travelers whom you invariably talk to while checking in or getting coffee or tea at the front desk. The rooms are clean...

Hello Sean: So happy to have you and your pet stay with us. Just FYI in the future, there is a park about 1 block away or just explore Chinatown which is another fun way to walk your pet. So glad to have you stay with us again. Regards and safe travels RPM

We stayed here as we needed a hotel close to the Patsaouras Transit Plaza and we booked it through priceline. We had a King room, it had a fridge, the microwave was located in lobby. The maid forgotten to check on top of shower curtain for the guests before us left a dirty wash cloth. But overall we loved the...

Our reservation was for Sunday thru Wednesday but change of plans made us arrive Saturday. I called ahead and asked if there was a room. The front desk said yes and not to worry about placing a credit card he would take care of us. When we arrived the rooms had all been filled and we did not have a...

An overnight in L A and we needed somewhere close to Union Station. It is unpretentious as you might expect from downtown accommodation. No breakfast, but coffee and tea available at reception. Plenty of restaurants in this part of Chinatown.

Nice hotel, clean and tidy. Great location and friendly staff. The rooms are of the old-fashioned motel size, with gigantic beds and a bathroom you can have a party in. No this is not a Fancy-Schmanzy 7-star Hotel, but for the money, you could do a whole lot worse.

Wanted somewhere economical to stay, planned to spend most days out and about exploring. This was a beyond perfect location for that, 5 minute walk to transit station and one stop away from Union Station. What a fun neighborhood to stay in, we were there for the Chinese New Year's Parade - passed right in front of the hotel! Clean,...

I looked high and low for a less expensive hotel that was not a Hotel 6, or the like. Royal Pagoda, in LA's Chinatown, really fit the bill. It is well located, near downtown. It is clean and quiet. Wonderful, helpful staff. They gave us a very early check-in, so that my parents could rest a bit before getting ready...

Avoid this disgusting and extremely unprofessionally run motel. I booked this place for my husband and I because, at first glance, I saw a few good reviews on Trip Advisor and it was close to the stadium. I now sincerely wish I'd been a bit more thorough before I booked the room. The person at the front desk was extremely...
