When I checked out, the hotel manager said that there was NO additional charge to me and that my refundable deposit ($150.00) would be refunded soon. I believed her and came back home. But, my credit card statement showed that the hotel charged $104.61 which had no relationship with the refundable deposit ($150.00) or anything else. This was not an acceptable charge. I reported the unauthorized charge to the Choice Customer Center yesterday. Today, the hotel sent me an email that the amount of $104.61 would be refunded soon. The hotel didn't provide me with any detailed explanation of why they charged $104.61. I don't want to stay at the hotel anymore.

I stayed overnight at this motel one night. I was charged for the room. Then I noticed they charged me an additional $150.00 3 days after I checked out. I called to inquire why and the woman (who would not give me her name) said the computer said I smoked in the room and that was a fee for deep cleaning. I don't smoke. I told her it was obviously a mistake and I needed to speak with someone about reversing the charges but she said there was nothing I could do. Oh yes there is - I disputed the charged on my card. I'd be careful staying here. Check your bank statement after your stay.

While the staff were all pleasant and the room was fine, there was not a breakfast as they advertise. In fact, we have stayed here a couple of times in the past as it is near family we are visiting and they had a full breakfast option...maybe not gourmet...but plenty of options. We just stayed three nights and there was only coffee and pre-packaged blueberry muffins (still very cold from either the fridge or freezer). When I asked there wasn’t an answer as to why. Not anything if you can’t eat gluten. If there is a COVID-related reason then they should tell you that BEFORE booking or offer prepackaged yoghurts, cereals, fruits...something. Since we have always booked this hotel to be able to get a quick bite before going to out for the day it was quite disappointing.

I was called racial slurs after complaining about only Cold water coming throug shower,and bugs in my room.afterchecking out next-day I was allerted bymy bank that I was being charged for two rooms when all i rented was 1.it turns out that the room I was moved to because of the bugs is what I was being charged for when the manager garunteed I wouldn't be charged extra because it was there fault.Never again will I EVER go to comfort inn in Hollywood EVER!!!

I traveled more then 50 miles to take a friend to this particular hotel where i had stayed a month prior & had a peaceful & enjoyable time. My friend & I arrived at 9:30 pm, I paid by credit card $135.66 for a two bed room. I was told if I paid cash then a $100 deposit would be needed but if I paid by credit card then no deposit was needed. Once in room the guests next door started fighting, yelling, cursing & throwing things. I called & asked the guy at the front desk if I could switch to a different room. He said there were none available. So I asked for my money back & told him I wanted to just check out then because I came there to have peace & quiet but I didn't believe I would get any if I stayed. Nothing had been touched in room & I was only there for about 30 minutes if that. I returned room key & was told I would have to wait until the morning after 8:00 am to speak with manager to get my money credited back to my credit card. Then I left. The next morning I called hotel to speak with manager but had no idea that I was going to be talked to in the way I was by the most rudest, nonprofessional woman I have ever spoken to. She has no care for the guests & told me she was NOT going to return my money & that I not only was charged $135.66 but also a $100 deposit totalling $235.66 for just a 30 minute stay. She told me I could call the police if I wanted to or call the Mayor for all she cared but she was not going to return my money! I am not finished with this person I will sue them if I need to. I feel I did not deserve to be treated that way & I deserve a full refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE NOR WILL I EVER STAY THERE AGAIN. SHE IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF & VERY RUDE ABOUT IT TOO. NOT SMART!!!!

Dear guest: First of all let me thank you for posting your concerns here so it gives me a chance to reply and explain myself as well. I never said I was going to charge you $100, what I said is that those $100 was just a pre authorization that gets released and it could take up to 7 business days before it reflects in your account! Second of all, We have no control of guests behavior, we did talked to guest immediately after you brought it up to our attention and they were not making noise, all the guest was doing was just trying to watch TV and had the volume of TV a little louder than normal!! Just like you mentioned in your comment, no one likes to be treated with disrespect, you on the other hand, were yelling, screaming and demanding things you wanted us to do without giving us an opportunity to explain ourselves. I have no problem in refunding unused rooms, but if you stay in the room, used the room and then ask for a refund, then it becomes an issue and I need to make sure I can justify this refund to my superiors. Horrible. Your day time manager needs to learn about what customer service means. I will never stay here again. Always noisy and rude. There is nothing free and the continental breakfast is a joke especially the coffee. I asked for her boss's name and number to call and explainhow she cancelled my hotel reservation. After staying here 3 plus weeks for work I needed to extend another 2 days. Despite of working nights and long hours I was still at work and could not get away. I explained this to her along with my reservation that I jad already gone on line to extend my room. She explained unless I go back there my reservation would not be valid. I then asked hypothetically speaking: "what happens if I cant go now because I am working! Not sure why she cant understand this??!?? She explains that my personal belongings and things would be removed from the room. I was furious and said dont be stupid! Exactly. A manager should nevef treat a customer like this. Then she says I will personally remove your belongings myself. After hanging up on me repeatedly because she refused to let me communicate with anypne else. I finally was told that the police would also be waiting for me. I can't imagine how she became a manager. In fact I wrote a letter to the cistoner service department after she tried to be sneaky by sending me an email, apologizing that she was sorry to see me cancel my reservation. Unbelievable. After arriving from interrupting my day at work a man in the office was there I believe he is the owner of this hotel franchise and this os the reason why corporate will only ignore your emails, calls, and complaints. Because they too Don't care about you the guest. They just want ypur money and hurry up please leave as soon as you can. Please note, I have the emails providing all of this and how she is so sneaky that she clearly demonstrates how unprofessional she is. Shame on this hotel and especially for having someone like this call themselves a hotel manager. Clearly she has no clue what the meaning of management means or especially having customer service skills.

One night stay. I was pretty happy with this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Parking in a garage was a real plus for me. There is a great Thai restaurant in their parking lot. I think this would be a great home base for tourists. Small issues: the sink leaked, the closet is small, and there is a bit of street traffic noise that gets through the windows. But overall I would recommend staying here. It's in a safe, but funky area.

We were in town for the Rams game and stayed two nights here using points. Not a place I would pay to stay, but wasn't bad for a free Choice Points stay. The room was clean and quiet, but no view, not that there was anything to look at. The lobby is bare bones, no snacks or beverages to purchase, only a vending machine. The clerk sits behind a glass window and there were a few homeless people walking the courtyard/parking lot. Plenty of cameras letting you know you were being watched for safety. Breakfast was the standard scrambled eggs and sausage with waffle irons, pastries, yogurt etc. Again, nothing fancy, just a bare bones safe clean and quiet hotel.

Chose this hotel due to being within 6 miles from the Petersen Automotive Museum, the Miracle Mile and other LA museums in the area (La Brea Tar Pits, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures & the LA County Museum of Art). It was $100 cheaper than other nearby hotels yet has very good reviews on cleanliness. It lives up to the clean, value hotel expectations. The actual neighborhood is not one I'd walk through alone at night, but I used a Lyft to get to Miracle Mile & then walked two miles back from that area before catching another Lyft to get through the sketchier part. There is secure underground parking and security monitors. Typical Comfort Inn with microwave, fridge, coffee maker. King room was spacious, tv had cable channels, bathroom was spotless. Comfortable bed with a variety of 4 pillows to choose from. The view wasn't great out my window as it looked into a concrete wall, but this is a congested downtown area. The AC works well and the window does open and has a screen. Many outlets in the room. I'd stay here again for the great value near many great attractions in downtown LA.
