hotel is right in the middle of all the tourist la/ hollywood places you want to see, employees at the hotel are great very nice and helpful. buffet in am is just under 30 dollars a person, but the food is fantastic and servers are excellent. had a nice stay in hotel stayed in , Hollywood sign room, windows were dirty but still got good pictures. make sure you use you 20 dollar room credit daily or you lose it. if you are traveling with children there is a mall with Dave and busters connected to hotel. I would stay at hotel if i went back, one negative, homeless people, not directly at or close to hotel but they are everywhere in LA,
Extremely satisfied with my stay at the Loews Hollywood. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Bodega with Starbucks is a very smart plus to the hotel, if you stay there you have a hop on hop ticket included; also you get 25 dollars to spend at the Bodega or in the lobby bar. Rooms have a beautiful view of Hollywood, and it's in walking distance to the Dolby Theater, El Capitan and the Walk of Fame. Believe me, you won't regret it!
Loews Hollywood was in the perfect Hollywood location. Very walkable although we didn’t do most of the touristy things so I can’t say how close we were to the popular attractions. Extremely close to the Hollywood walk of fame and Musso and Franks iconic restaurant. The valet parking was around $50 per night and all the valets were friendly and efficient. The hotel lobby was beautiful along with the bar attached to the lobby. The front end staff were friendly and helpful. Now the room..we had a two double bed room with a city view. The amenities listed a docking station but that wasn’t the case for our room. We had a bathtub bathroom not a nice shower room. The bathroom amenities were nothing special and for a four star hotel the bathroom door was dated with stripped stain or scratches. The room had a single Keurig machine which I love but the sweetener and creamer options were very much lacking. There were two sugars, one sweet n low, and powdered creamer. For a nice hotel such as this I was expecting many packet options of sweetener and little tubs of creamer. We did have a $20 beverage/food credit daily so it was an option to have coffee from the Bodega downstairs. The pool was beautiful and warm even though I only stuck my foot in. The fitness room had a ton of towels and water and they had a good variety. Overall our stay was a very pleasant three nights. We were in the 14th floor so noise issues were not a factor for us. I would definitely stay again.…
we loved the LOWES. the Tour they suggested Star Track Tours was unprofessional- I wouldnt recommend - try Big Bus Tours or TMZ would be better a better experience. There are plenty of tour companies on Hollywood Blvd besides this one!
Previously stayed at Loews in Hollywood in 2016 for 5 days and loved it so much that we vowed to return when we were next in the area. In April we booked a cruise from Long Beach and decided to book Loews pre-cruise and 2 days afterwards. The first night we came into LAX after a delayed flight from the UK and was quite tired but Carlos on reception made checking in easy and less stressful. Our room for the one night over looked Hollywood Boulevard and the Dolby Theatre next door. We left for our cruise and returned again for 2 nights. We were lucky enough to have the best room over looking the Hollywood sign, Capitol Records and download LA. It was just lovely to look out and see such a lovely view. We were sad to leave after 2 lovely days and although there is constuction going on at the Highland shopping complex, it didn't impact our stay whatsoever. Thanks again to Carlos and the lovely staff at Bodega which we used for light snacks, the lovely bartender at H2O and helpful doormen, Loews Hollywood will defiitely be the choice of hotel whenever we come back to the area. Highly recommended. 10/10.…
You can’t beat the location - right in the heart of all of the action. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and classy. The pool deck was very nice and the pool water was warm and silky (saltwater). Great place to stay!
Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I also enjoyed the services available to guests. Check in and Check out was easy and the lobby staff was always willing to help. This definitely made the conference event a good experience. Thank you!
Bathrooms in the room and lobby were gross. Service desk had trouble checking us in when I prepaid. Restaurant got our breakfast order wrong. Glad we were only there for 24 hours. So disappointed overall.
I had an awesome experience. I cannot wait to bring my grandson here soon. He will love it!! The hotel was clean, friendly and the food was delicious. I came for business but can’t wait to come for fun with the family.
Valet is very expensive and they do not tell you about self parking for $20 vs. $50 for valet. The staff is friendly but this info is not given even when asked directly. We were there for a convention and since we had special group rates we were not given ant special perks.
