This hotel is basic but cleaned daily to a high standard, however although advertised as bed and breakfast, there was no breakfast, due to covid, but there is a McDonald's just down the road. Advertised as lots of restaurants locally, they don't tell you they're all Thai, there's not one American or English restaurant anywhere, I won't be going back there.
I booked this because it was within 1/2 mile to Dodger Stadium. It was my 21st different stadium. LAX is very different from the last time. You have to take a shuttle to get to the taxi, lyft and Uber areas. Cost of Uber is $45 and taxi(mid day) $65. Got checked in and room was good. Fridge and Micro in room 230. I found out the walk to stadium was a bit of strain. You have to walk up hills that go up at a big angle. Took me about 20 min. I found a little store for snacks, right out of the main door. There also was 3 restaurants within a block and was told more a bit further. Front desk was very helpful in helping with a problem with my cell phone and they printed off boarding pass for last day. Breakfast was very simple. Packaged bagels and muffins, fresh waffles and bev. Enough to get you started. I did not see a gas station at all near there.…
Perfect hotel for a Dodgers game. Literally it is a 5 min walk or 1 budlight. Parking is easy right off of Sunset blvd. Breakfast was a great surprise during Covid. Good on this hotel for moving on. Also all staff are friendly and helpful.
Excellent place for my lodging needs, I always come here yearly from abroad ,it isnear all the places i want to go to. The breakfast fare is amazing. This has clean surroundings overall. The front desk is helpful and courteous
My buddy and I went to LA to see a couple baseball games at Dodger stadium. We found Super 8 had great rates and was only about a half mile from the stadium...I was leery at first, but this was a very nice motel with excellent landscaping and clean room that were very welcoming. Won't hesitate to stay here again.
Never going to stay in this motel again. When I checked in at 6pm no one was at the desk. I waited about 20 minutes until someone showed up. When I was finally checked in I headed to my room only to find out the maid was still clearing the room. Had to wait outside the hallway so I decided to go back to desk staff to get another room that is ready, mind you I have been driving for a good 5 hours and was tired and just needing to get a rest. She insisted the room was ready and called the maid to check, who was still in our room gathering her stuff. Bad service from the getgo. Also the hotel is right by an intersection so it was noisy. But at least there was breakfast bagels muffins and oatmeal available.
Great location close to everything !! weekend get away ,walked to dodgers stadium.very close bad bedding needs update, the staff when checked in was very friendly, but some staff not very customer service friendly
We got there at like 10 pm after traveling all day, and when we arrive they tell my partner his id isn’t valid in California (we’re from Chicago). We were trying to explain to him in Chicago we get paper id’s when we get them renewed while we wait for the hard copy of it, but he was convinced that it was fake and refused to call his manager after we asked. After trying to explain the process again, and even asking to him to just look up the Illinois law, or even scan the id, he told us we couldn’t stay there, but we’d be refunded. When I asked if I could book the room with my card and my id, he said no and that he had the right to refuse service. When I asked why was he refusing service, he says it was because of “The vibes we put out.” I’m pretty sure the vibe he was referring to was that we were black. I know you can’t expect much staying in budget motels like this, but we really weren’t expected to be denied the room we paid for months in advance bc of our “vibes.” I can’t speak on the quality of the hotel because we didn’t even get to stay in there. But, judging from the service, one out of five stars. I wish I could give it a negative one.…
Especially during Covid, the room wasn't clean. The floor hadn't even been vacuumed!! There was someones old candy by the nightstand. The linens had holes in them....it was just gross! I have supporting photos, have complained to Wyndham with no response, and would not recommend anyone with any sense of self preservation or hygiene stay there.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to all the headaches associated with my stay, with some of the main points stated below. Then online, their website and other travel sites, it is listed that breakfast is included, but they do not serve breakfast while providing no possible alternatives. Their reasoning is Coronavirus which is reasonable, but then they should make an effort to remove "Breakfast Included" from all sites and ads so you can factor no available breakfast into your decision. If you end up staying at the hotel, MAKE SURE YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT NO BREAKFAST SERVED BECAUSE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED IN THE HOTEL RATE, SO YOU GET A REFUND FORE HTE BREAKFAST VALUE. You are required to place a $100 cash or credit deposit in addition to paying the hotel rate, but they won't inform you until you arrive. This could be different if you call to ask specifically about it, but it should be shared on their listing sites. While staying, my bed also had multiple stains that seemed they tried to clean but failed. Typically you would think the logical idea would be to replace the sheets, but this is not their thinking. The rooms have minimal wall plugs, with no wall plugs adjacent to the bed, so charging your phone on the nightstand while you sleep is not an option. The staff is really kind and tries to be helpful, but the policies set up force them into creating uncomfortable accommodations for the travelers. For the price and issues, it is not worth staying here.…
