Pros: * Location -- close to Koreatown, downtown, highways * Interior of the room is better than similar hotels in price range Cons: * Location -- in a shady part of the city * Bright blinding lights around the hotel with no black out curtains in almost all rooms * Noisy A/C. * Exterior of the hotel looks shady * Rooms are smelly -- probably smoke.

Our destination was the Convention Center, and this hotel is an easy 10 minute walk, Staples Center is also on the way. We opted to pay a little extra for a king bed suite, which was well worth it. The bedroom was good size, clean, comfortable, and the separate lounge room was handy (TV in each room) . Nice clean bathroom. Standard continental breakfast of cereal, toast and bagels should keep you going until lunchtime. The street outside is busy by day, but this the city center, which is quiet at night. I would stay here again.

Location was the selling point of this hotel during a recent stay. It's only a few miles from the LA Coliseum which was ideal to attend a recent NFL game. The room was comfortable and had all the basic needs including a fridge and microwave. The morning breakfast was basic at best and nothing to rave about. The reception staff I encountered were friendly and efficient. The area is reasonable with food chains and a grocery store about a bloke away. Having stayed with many large hotel chains over these few weeks I found this one to be on the expensive side. In saying that, the room served our purpose, good location and a decent night's sleep.

(Note that star rating is based on value/dollar.) This is one of the most reasonable hotels within a walk/cheap ride to the convention center. It's about a 25 minute walk, Uber was about $7. It's modest, but the rooms are comfortable and well kept. The housekeeping was actually on a par with far more luxurious hotels. (Remember to tip your housekeepers!) The fridge and coffee maker were handy and there's a Thai and Chinese restaurant next door, a high-end Korean restaurant across the street and a very good Mexican place a couple of blocks east. Be wary of the Chinese place. No prices are posted and I think they may overcharge tourists. The air conditioner had a problem, but it was fixed the next day. It was one of those in-wall kinds that was fairly loud. On the downside, the wireless internet connection was remarkably slow, consistently under 2mbps with 4 bars of signal as measured by Ookla. Make sure you've completed all your updates and don't even think of streaming any video. My phone, showing two bars was getting 30mbps via AT&T.

Very good in all aspects for the price point. Quiet room. Air conditioning works. Good bed. Clean. Has free parking lot. Wi-fi works. 24hs reception. Breakfast is simple but you can eat something to start the day.

I had to wait over a half hour to check in behind everyone on an Italian tour bus. After along day, it was difficult to feel patient. When we got the room, it had a booger in the tub and black hairs everywhere, some being on the ice bucket. There was splatter on the lampshade between the beds and on the pamphlets and guides below. Felt for nearly $200 bucks, clean would be nice. Breakfast was clean and nice!!

I must say this was an amazing stay before our big road trip. Easy to find and really in the heart of LA. The room was perfect and the bed so comfy. No noise or disturbing through the night and so easy to get on the road for the trip for the next day. A must and very clean.

The room was nothing special, but I wasn't expecting too much. I had a problem, and no one at the hotel was willing to help... not management, not maintenance, no one. I dropped my car key in the elevator and it slipped between the elevator and the door. It was on a ledge about 6 feet below. maintenance wouldn't help, and the management said it couldn't be accessed. When I figured out how to get it, they wouldn't even help to keep the elevator door open. Thank goodness for a nice tow truck driver ... he was the only kind person with compassion. Rodeway Inn will not be in our future travel plans.

Ok location and ok to stay at for one night. The room came with a refrigerator and the water pressure in the shower was really, really good (especially in comparison with Ramada National City). The wi-fi worked just fine and the breakfast was ok. This hotel also has a small pool area and parking shouldn’t be a problem.

We stayed for a short visit of LA. The location was not great but we had a car to get around in. It is not far from the city centre and is on a busy road. We were lucky to get a room at the back of the complex so road noise was not a problem for us. The room was ok a little tired but the carpet was pretty dirty. The bathroom was clean but small. The staff friendly, the pool small and the breakfast in a very small room for a place with 50 rooms and not enough food supplied to cover the volume of guests so if you stay here get down to breakfast early.
