Lots of positives. Very clean lobby and room. No deposit or room tax added. Attached Edmon restaurant is super/ lively outside eating area and really interesting menu. No need to book. Downside- only a cake shop next door for breakfast. Everywhere else a good walk away. Los Angeles is vast and car grid locked. We did walk to Hollywood walk of fame but it took 45 mins. Instead we used lots of Ubers.

This was our first Hollywood/ LA visit. The hotel was everything I could have asked for. Clean, quiet rooms, friendly staff and great safe location! Our room was so spacious, great storage and a little fridge which was great for storing water/breakfast etc. The cleaners do an EXCELLENT job!! Reception staff are also great, always greeted with a welcoming and friendly hello when we had returned each day, and especially helpful when we had enquired about public transport/ things to do etc. Thank you again for such an enjoyable stay and I will defo be returning if I chose Hollywood for vacation in the future!! (My only regret is not eating in the restaurant in the hotel!! On our last night, we went in for a drink each and it looked amazing).

Me and my wife checked in and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist named Michael, who happily answered all our questions about LA and how to get around. Our room was spacious and had exactly what we needed. The parking was great and the guy who runs it was also very friendly. We saw a few reviews saying the hotel was dated but for a historical hotel it was more than adequate. Would happily stay again. Thank you for a great stay

No coffee in room or hotel. Parking lot attendant rude. Was not there when we arrived. No spaces available and shouted at us when we tried to park somewhere. No place nearby for breakfast (I am diabetic and need to eat regularly. Would not recommend

This very historic property located a block from the Paramount Pictures Studio is quickly becoming a significant hang out , in large part because of its Art Deco bar . Truly an excellent rejuvenation of the bar . The Hotel is itself comfortable and well located . The General Manager, Mike, is like “Mr LA; having been born and raised locally . He is extremely useful for information and essentially could also be Concierge . Cudos to the great job he is doing for visitors and for the Hotel and Bar . Would stay here again

Bathroom is so tiny it's unfit for average sized people. Trying to sit on the toilet with your knees rubbing on the bathtub was annoying. The shower was so narrow I had to stand sideways and pull the curtain back to rinse my legs. There was no fan or window in the bathroom and the steam from the shower caused the smoke alarm to go off every time. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The layout of the room was very strange, especially for such a small room. The staff was helpful and the location was great, though.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it is a cute historic hotel. We felt safe and it was quite. There is a very good coffee shop down the street and a little bit further a donut shop. There is a dispensary in walking distance and a Colombian restaurant which we didn't try but heard others talking about. The room was nice and clean. The shower was nice and warm. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, small safe and iron in the room. The bed was comfy and the staff very nice.

Great place to stay when visiting the Hollywood area. If you are looking for all the great amenities and spacious well-appointed rooms that major chain hotels offer, then this probably won't be for you. This is an older historic hotel with great staff, great prices, clean rooms, and you can't beat the location just north of Hollywood. Very safe area, secure parking behind the hotel, and close to everything like restaurants and tourist attractions. Rooms are small, no extra chair in ours, but included a tiny desk. Bed very comfortable. If you are looking for a great, inexpensive place to sleep while visiting the area then this is it. Very satisfied with the experience.

I spent two nights at the HHH recently, and had such fun with the staff, restaurant personnel, and want to recommend this small, historic (1927, on the National HIstoric Register) hotel. It has been refurbished and was very clean, sanitized, and excellent COVID health protocols were in place. Even though it's on busy Melorose Ave in the heart of Hollywood, I got some great sleep, and there are lots of excellent cafes, coffee shops, other shops close by...and if you're into visiting film studios, they're just down the block. BETI, the manager is a dream, and she'll make you feel as if you're family. This small hotel is a "find" in an expensive city to visit; I recommend it's simplicity, cleanliness, good service, and friendliness...at a great price!

I was there for a short get-away w/wifey, aka Covid Relief. Trip Highlighted by my 62nd Birthday, and the fact my wife has never seen the Ocean. Upon Arriving I lost my cellphone in the taxi from LAX, the night clerk-Johan wasn't any help didn't know anything, truly a downer to start off, but the day clerk -Chrijtian, and his new trainee ( Older Black gentlemen) recovered info which led to my phone recovery, while all along the Bartender Guyelle served the best drinks I've had in quite some time, Vivian kept the food service selection informative prompt, professional and very polite; because of these three adding to our ambience change our view and look of this historic hotel, and left memorable impression for us to return. Go see !
