I enjoyed my stay at Little Tokyo Hotel everything was well kept and the guess as well as the office was very helpful. Coming from Saginaw Michigan I never would have thought my stay in Los Angeles would be this great. Shoutout to the hotel staff (Sean).
Pleasantly surprised. Was greeted with a very friendly welcome and check in took 2 minutes. Room was clean and I have a view of Little Tokyo's bustling 1st street. Great energy and vibe and the neighborhood is awesome. Great rate.
I had a lot going on this weekend so I didn’t have a lot of time to evaluate much of the hotel other than the cost was minimal, I walked everywhere I went, everyone I met or came into contact with was cool and the hotel was not hard to find after taking the shuttle from LAX to Union Station. Because of COVID I didn’t check out much of the nightlife; I was there looking for a friend who wanted to come back home, found him about a few hours after I got there, spent the night, and brought him back home the next morning.
Less than $100 private rooms. Right in Litttle Tokyo on the main street. Shared bathroom & toilets. No air condition. In summer beware - it gets hot. Only a dusty ceiling fan. They send to an email prior check in date, to let you know. So, i bought a small fan, just for this. Decent sized room. No tv/phone. Old furniture. I advised the hotel, I would arrive early, when I booked. Which they would store my bag. Upon arrival, door was not opened to enter. No key, no enter process. Buzzer, no one was answering. Alternative number wasn't working. Sat outside the street for hours until I could get into the hotel. This was no a welcoming experience. First time in LA& having to deal with people on the street. i felt unsafe. The older receptionist couldn't speak english. The younger man who worked there did, but I barely saw him. There was a bed in reception, where he may of been sleeping. So, It had an asian custom feel to it. We were advised not to leave doors open, as the homeless would use our bathrooms to clean themselves. Hotel and room had this mouldy smell. Which once leaving the hotel, I had to wash all my clothes to get rid of the smell. This place, is what it is. If you want cheap and a short walk to downtown. This is your place. If you want ANY comfort, pay more and stay at another hotel.…
