You have Hollywood sign view, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Dolby Theatre, Chinese Theatre, Madame Tussauds, small shoping center, restaurants, city tours stations, etc. Rooms are large, clean, with great views.
This was a cool little hostel in hollywood that did just fine for our short stay in LA. We had a 6 bed mix dorm that was actually pretty good because each room has it own washroom and kitchen, pretty rare in the...
Loudy place though perfect for youngs. rooms were clean \ location excellent \ price low / but dont except a good night of sleep since the party ends at midnight everyday and the rooms are facing it I guess it...
Superb lodgings, great cocktails, cool neighbourhood with tasty eats, sweet views of downtown LA, the hills and Griffith Observatory from my balcony in Room 6. Bonus for the free parking a block away.
A gritty outside to Wonderland. I was Alice, curiouser & trying all: ‘eat me’, drink me’, wear me! The amenities, bed, paintings, mobiles, art deco sconces and nouveau-mid century touches are divine.
A ton of steep steps to climb with luggage straight off the min street to get to the check in window along with the hallways of rooms/ bathrooms. You had the cheaper option of choosing a room that had a shared bathroom... awkward. Anyway so I get there and the man barely spoke English and my reservation and confirmation number did not come up in his computer. He then tried to up-charge me for a single night at the price of 2 without a reservation on top of everything else! I ended up making him charge me the same amount I would have paid for 2 nights with the reservation because of the inconvenience. When we finally got to our “private” room, it was very small, dirty, plain and outdated on so many levels. The only good thing about this hotel/location is the tv and that it’s a 5 min walk to Hollywood Blvd.…
I only stayed here for 1 night, a quick layover in LA and it was OK the location was the best thing about the place, the room was actually better than I expected, with a lovely big TV, but the bathroom was a bit dated. I literally just wanted the room to sleep in before going out early the next day. Something I was only warned about when checking in however, was the fact the hotel is directly above a busy bar and as it was Saturday night, I was kept awake until 1am by loud music, so be warned if you need a good nights sleep at the weekend, I would avoid this place.
Location: Just 0.4 miles from the Hollywood walk of fame, this is not a hotel but a motel. Accessibility: There is a steep staircase which you need to climb to get to your rooms. So, if you are lugging heavy bags, it will be a tough task. Room: Very basic with a bed, air conditioner and a small window for ventilation. Bathroom: A commode and bathtub with sliding doors. Maintained clean. There is paid parking during the day on the road. Night parking was free. Though we read some reviews about noise at late night due to the presence of a pub close-by, we didn't feel disturbed, Overall, the stay was comfortable but the tariff is very expensive for the quality of the stay.
This is not a hotel, it is more like a motel. Budget hotel. The best thing is the location. Right in downtown. Universal studios is just 15 to 20 mins away. Walk to fame just few steps away. Dont expect much from this hotel except for location. They allow you to place your luggage if you were to check out and roam around in the city for few hours.
