If you're on a budget and you really want to visit Hollywood, I really mean this, go somewhere else! To say that this place was mediocre would be an understatement. More like a dept of health and safety should investigate it. The reception area should be a red herring for anyone visiting, because it shows despite the world has since...

For the price you pay in this hotel it is just not worth it. The location is good for a Hollywood experience but the rest is horrible. I guess the main thing is the poor service and the staff's attitude. Must be a rough place to work at: while waiting to check in I heard the guy at the reception...

The Guest Inn, 6700 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90028 Two couples were travelling together undertaking an epic road-trip covering Nevada, Arizona and California over a three week period – day 8. The male staff behind the reception counter was very helpful upon arrival but the room was not yet ready. We paid for the room upfront and then went off...

I booked this place ages ago because it was cheap and Central, and I kind of forgot all about it until I turned up here. It is not a high-end Hotel obviously but I I have absolutely no complaints! Arrived many hours earlier than expected and the guy on the front desk just showed me right in to the room...

I don't even know where to begin with how terrible this hotel is. I have stayed all throughout Hollywood in countless hotels, but none of them are even remotely as terrible as this one. Sure, this hotel has a great location, but the location isn't worth the rest of the hassle you will have to deal with. To start, our...

Very clean, very quiet complex. Safe area. The manager was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice organic coffee shop opposite, great for the breakfast and lovely coffee. Extremely close to hollywood blvd and the tube. Great location.

The room was neat and clean. We had room service everyday. Staff is friendly and they helped us to store our bags. The hotel is In the middle of Hollywood. All attractions are walking distance. There are Clubs, pubs and bars all around. Parking is tight but they always have parking. Our room was relaxing and beds are soft. For...

We stayed for 3 nights. Room was clean, spacious and serviced everyday. Parking was a huge plus since there's no street parking and they had space for our Chevy suburban. It's little noisy because hotel is on the main road. Location was great; in the middle of Hollywood. Walking distance to everything. There are restaurants all around the place. Only...

Dirty. Noisy place. Manager is very unprofessional. The experience was horrible. This is probably the worst place I have stayed at. There are other places which are much better. I thought i would give it a go since some reviews were positive. What a mistake. This place ruined my trip. Free breakfast is a joke. Hot water was not strong....

Bad location, dirty, horrible parking(for an extra fee!). My friends got soda from the vending machine and they were warm. Staff was creepy. Bad lighting in room, no mirrors. The price was for too much for what you got.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
