This B&B is in a great location on a wonderfully quiet residential street. We stayed in the "green" room and the bed was so comfortable with a firm mattress and the softest sheets and comforter. There was also a small refrigerator in the room with bottles of water. Elaine was a pleasure to talk to at breakfast, which included coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit and an assortment of pastries, breads and bagels. The house is filled with books and artwork from her travels and has a very eclectic vibe, which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again! Oh, and we were able to park in the driveway, and she also has parking permits if you need to park on the street.
I really wanted to love this place, but there were a couple things that happened during our stay that weren't ideal. First, we were put into a different room with a smaller bed than we had originally reserved two months in advance. When we asked about it, we were told someone staying longer was put into our original room. Then, on our last morning there, we woke up to a film crew filming a movie in the house, which we were not told would be happening. In terms of the house itself, it was an okay place to crash for relatively cheap for a few nights, but I wouldn't stay here again after those hiccups.
I was at Elaines B&B for four nights and had an amazing time. Elaine was a lovely host and was happy to answer any questions I had as a first time visitor to LA. My room was great and much bigger than what you would usually get in a hotel. There were a lot of breakfast options and it was nice to meet other guests in the morning. The location was also great to get around. Would fully recommend!
Elaine's place is amazing. Great location. beautiful neighborhood to walk around and walking distance to food and drinks. Elaine is a wonderful host. So fun to chat with her and the other guests in the morning over breakfast and really good strong french press coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you'd need. Highly recommend! I hope to go back to LA someday and will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much, Elaine! - Natalie
It's not easy to find reasonably priced accommodation in West Hollywood with parking for the car. This bed and breakfast fits the bill. Comfortable bed with en suite and very quiet. This bed and breakfast makes a real point of providing a really decent breakfast with choice of cereals, bread, preserves, juice, coffee. The breakfast is served in the kitchen and it's an opportunity to talk to the host and to the other guests. If the parking in the drive is occupied, there is on-street parking just outside.
