This is the most disgusting, run down place I have ever seen. -Air doesn't work -No screens on the windows -windows missing parts so it wont stay open -floor so disgusting you dont want to take your shoes off. This hotel was so bad we asked for a refund. Ended up getting blown off by the front desk person after...

The room was nothing like the photos. The pictures show a nice modern room but it was more like a crack den from the 80's. Everything was dirty. The sheets & towles had stains on them. The paint on the walls where all patchie with about 3 or 4 different shades of white. Doors missing on the TV cabinet. Did...

When i booked this hotel is was purely for location and price, however when i walked in i was shocked to see all the renovations being done, i was dreading seeing the room after looking around reception but the room had had a full refurb done on it and it was amazing, clean, fresh and modern, would stay here again...

Pluses: It's one block from Hollywood Boulevard, which I wasn't aware of, and as a female traveling alone I strangely did not feel unsafe. And considering the hopping area it was strangely more quiet than where I currently live. Also I found the front desk to be extremely helpful but was kind of creeped out by the fact it was...

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Hollywood, California I had reserved this hotel back in april 2014 I was suppose to stay here for a week. (which by the way I did not I was told by staff the renovations would be done by the end of april and that the building supplies would not be...

What a piece of crap.... This hotel ( if you can call it) was a total mess. Desk staff were useless when asked to rectify things to the point of we had to do it ourselves. Bar fridge in our room was completely frosted to the point the door would not shut, even with reminders left at the desk twice...

The room was beautiful and nicer than expected. It felt a little dirty and the beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. 3 days later, I am still in pain. The service was so so. We requested sheets and blankets and a pillow, which we never received. I reserved a room for 5 and we had only 2 towels, when I asked for...

Stayed here July 11th 2014. The staff is soooo nice!! They are currently renovating the whole hotel. One of the owners took us for a little tour and showed us what the rooms used to look like and we actually stayed in one of the renovated rooms. The room was huge!! Our room was still not complete, everything except for...

We stayed on this hotel for four nights in july 2014. As we had read reviews on tripadvisor before our visit, we hoped to get a renovated room. Unfortunately they were not available. The first room we got was located in the second floor. When we opened the doors it smelled like urine in there. The furniture were very old...

This hotel is the worst I've ever seen. Every single sheet hoarded stains; yellow, red, white. Remnants of bug shells all over the sheets. Lobby is grotesque and heavily outdated. Staff are useless and reaching the manager is almost impossible.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
