We stayed 6 days at the end of our holiday in the liberty hotel and really enjoyed it, although they are still partly under renovation, the renovated rooms are excellent. It is important that you look through the renovation part, because there is a splendid stay behind it. Just steps away of Hollywood boulevard and the energy of this street,...

Stayed here last summer for business, and looks like things have not changed. Easily the absolute worst hotel I've ever been in. Half-painted furniture, curtains hanging off the pole, a door that you could see through from the hallway, dirty sheets, hallways that reeked of urine, etc. I slept fully clothed for fear of catching something contagious. You're better off...

This is my first review ever on a hotel, but I really felt we were ripped off with this booking. The hotel was still under construction (which the website DID NOT say), there was black satin bedding (really? BLACK!?), black towels, hardly any toilet paper, the blankets had holes, floors were dirty with footprints everywhere, sheets were dingy, the room...

While taking a road trip with my friends we came across this little gem online. Because the price was so in budget compared to other hotels in the area we were a little worried, But this place is ridiculously clean and well taken care of. Conveniently located right behind the Chinese theater and the Hollywood walk of fame you're right...

The room appeared clean at first but wasn't and was not cleaned the whole time we were there, things did not work properly, the windows did not open and we had a cock roach in our room. Breakfast was included 8-10 but was gone when went at 9?! The manager was so rude and kept adding on fees each day...

The lady manager is rude and burned out! She clearly is the problem at this hotel! You need training lady! I never experienced such COLD and rude service! staff is clearly not trained on simple transactions and customer service and is a reflection of management. The ratings do not lie!

Booked this hotel just for one night visit, the neighborhood when we came with the car was just terrific. Creepy people standing everywhere and the parking was on the back of the building and was pretty scary to go too in the night. Was just 8 hours of sleep we wanted, no high expectations after lived in a no high...

This little gem in the heart of Hollywood was definitely an unexpected surprise. The hotel is in the midst of a full renovation from its previous incarnation, which the former wasn't anything to write home about! The room was cozy and comfortable, appointed with a huge flat screen TV, satin sheets and crystal chandeliers. It's old Hollywood meets the 21st...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
