Several members of my family, aged 16 to 84, stayed at the Sky recently. The staff was great. The rooms modern and clean. I slept well. Free wifi and breakfast. Only improvement would be better bagels.

This is an older building that has been refurbished very nicely so that it's very stylish. The tented courtyard is a delightful place to sit and enjoy breakfast. Fixtures are modern, good quality. The staff is great - very helpful in every regard. The only complaint I have is the pillows. If they are down, or something to simulate down,...

My daughter was planning on moving to LA, and we needed a base for our apartment search. The lobby was inviting, with the coffee, breakfast options, and seating to read the paper or watch TV. The atrium in the center of the hotel was adorable, and I liked it very much. The rooms were comfortable, the parking was so convenient,...

While very stylish furnishings give the appearance of a more upscale hotel, it's really just a motel with a facelift --- I love sleep but alas didn't get to sleep well AT ALL here so thought I'd give you all a fair warning.. -- All of the rooms are in a covered courtyard, so the sound of any door closing...

The location of this hotel is perfect, within a very short walk to amazing shopping and restaurants. The Lobby and grounds and rooms are so beautifully decorated and maintained, and it's so comfortable to relax there. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, you feel so welcomed. The whole place is immaculate, and the rooms are so beautiful and...

For west LA... this hotel was a bargain. about a 5 min drive to westwood/UCLA area. 10 min drive to Santa Monica on the 10 HW. The rooms and hotel lobby were nicely decorated. The owner, an Isreali lady, was very friendly and striked up a conversation with us...and had no problem accommodating us when we had to cancel one...

We stayed at the Sky Hotel for 4 nights and couldn't have ended up at a better place for recovering from a long flight, crossing many timezones. The room was quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable, we woke up rested every day. The hotel staff is very friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast at Junior's just across the road....

This is a renovated "motel" and it's been done with style. I stayed here some time ago while visiting friends in LA. Usually I just change planes in LAX but the airport is becoming such a pain in the [--] that I decided to stopover and give myself a break ... it all depended upon finding a cheap hotel. I...

Read all other reviews before booking in this hotel. They charge my Visa Card without my consent. Manager is a very rude and ignorant person. I never checked in and I was charged for the total stay... I will take them to court and get my Money.. This is a small Motel with no customer service experience... when there is...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located right on Westwood Blvd, you will be only footsteps away from shopping, dining, entertainment and Los Angeles` premier attractions. At LA Sky Boutique Hotel you are sure to enjoy a contemporary, serene atmosphere surrounded by the excitement of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Beach Cities. When you enter the lobby, the charm of this boutique property will unveil itself. The intimate, chic, living room-like lobby surrounds a small bar where guests can enjoy a nice bottle of California wine or creamy specialty coffees and cookies. The ``why`` behind the name L.A. Sky Hotel becomes obvious as you walk through a door into the indoor courtyard, once open to the ``LA Sky`` and now covered with a beautiful canopy that shades the interior. It`s an indoor-outdoor courtyard that is perfect for an afternoon drink or a lazy e-mail session. The common areas of the L.A. Sky encompass everything that a person could want in a Boutique Hotel: cozy, comfortable, charming, clean and tasteful. One beautifully rare occurrence in the City of Angels is not having to drive a car to get where you want to go. If it`s trendy L.A. eats or a new pair of tight jeans you are looking for you won`t have to re-park the car, just walk out the front door. There are a melange of restaurants on the block and more shopping than any man can take at the Westwood Pavilion Shopping Center. The famed Wilshire and Sunset Boulevards are nearby and even the Beach Cities like Santa Monica and Venice are within 5 miles. ... more   less
