All reviews washington blvd santa monica loft room great location marina del rey bagels continental breakfast muscle beach hard boiled eggs boutique hotel two blocks stay in venice three blocks small balcony bars and restaurants would definitely stay here again enjoyed my stay
The hotel is very small.. the rooms are clean and nice. Bathrooms are out-dated.
The breakfast is way less than average. (See pictures).
The hotel is so expensive compared to the value you get out of it.
I booked this place after a friend in L.A. recommended it. Was looking for a place next to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier to show my wife and friends girlfriend as they had never been. This location was PERFECTLY located a couple of blocks...More

Dear Jason J,
Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Inn at Venice Beach. The entire staff takes pride in providing the best possible experience for our guests, so your feedback is welcome and appreciated.
It was cleaner than the other hotels, toilet is a wow factor! High five for complimentary breakfast! Healthy foods. Receptionist is polite. Highly recommended for the tourists like me. It was nearby Sta. Monica beach around 10mins by 🚗. ❤️
Well, I just stayed there. Not sure why it was so well rated. The hotel is not that clean but the location is indeed great. The water in the shower stinks big time. As soon as you're done taking your shower, your skin smells of...More

Stayed for a night in October. Old fashion hotel in the middle of Venice area just a couple of blocks from the beach. Rooms are alright but needs an upgrade. AC makes a lot of noise and bathrooms could use an overhaul soon.

Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it
happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.

The rooms have AC, but if you book one of the lofts, which are quite large, I'm not sure how effective the AC will be upstairs. But the loft area does have a ceiling fan. I stayed in a loft during the spring and was quite comfortable. I had a smaller room when I stayed more recently in July. That smaller room was also very comfortable during the hotter summer months.
Yes, there is on site parking. And you will need it. I think it's $20 a night. You should be able to confirm the cost on their website.
