We stayed for 4 nights in March 2020 on the 12th floor in a room with city views The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We ordered room service a couple of times and it was always beautifully presented on a white table cloth. We also tried the buffet breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The flower arrangements in the restaurant really make the room grand. There is a nice gift shop in the large, marble foyer. Our stay at this hotel was truly pleasant. Thank you to the staff at LA Grand Hotel for making our stay so memorable. We will most certainly stay at L.A. Grand again. (Tourists from Australia)

Needed a Hotel in the downtown Los Angeles area due to a new family member in the hospital and was extremely impressed when we arrived at the L.A. Grand Hotel. We were greeted by Emmanuel when we first pulled up with a luggage cart and I believe he must be part of the management team as he was wearing a suit and tie. The check in process was quick and easy, but when I got to my room with Emmanuel behind me with all of the luggage I found out that my room did not have a bath tub, but within 5 min. Emmanuel was back up with a set of keys to a nicer room that had a bath tub and informed me that there was no charge for the up grade. My son and his family were in an adjoining room and both of our rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. My son and myself walked down 4 blocks to a shopping area with many stores and restaurants and felt completely safe doing so as this hotel is in the financial district of downtown. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to L.A.

This is a great hotel. I was greeted with a smile by the bell/valet staff and when I entered the lobby the Front Desk staff was smiling and checked me in offering information on the hotel and neighborhood. The lobby is beautiful with high ceilings and the restaurant offered great cocktails. I did not partake in the breakfast buffet but it was bountiful and look great. My guest rooms was clean and modern. Water pressure was perfect and the internet was good. I walked around downtown and it was close the office/client I was visiting. I couldn't have asked for anything else. This hotel offered a comfortable stay with friendly staff. Kudos to the management!

Overnight for court hearing, arrival was excellent, valet was easy and they did not insist on taking my stuff (I like to pull my own bag). The greeting by Emmanuel at the front desk was smooth and nice, he offered hotel and local information. The room was clean and well supplied. The bar had people but not too full, enjoyed a burger and beer, and a peaceful night sleep. Departure was also easy the valet had the car there and you pay for the valet at the window instead of on the room bill. Great room and hotel for the price and easy location for downtown/bunker hill business.

We chose this hotel since it was close to Staples Center. There are not a lot of reasonably priced hotels in Downtown LA, and I found a good deal on this one. When we walked into the lobby, it was huge and beautiful. I was greeted right away by Elizabeth at the front desk. We were a bit early, but she allowed us to check in early which I was very appreciative of. The rooms are big and we had a nice view. I had read a few reviews from people saying it was noisy because it is by the freeway but we didn’t hear anything. Also I had read reviews about wifi problems, but the wifi is complimentary and we didn’t have any issues with it. My biggest concern was how safe the neighbourhood would be at night as we were planning on walking to and from Staples Center two different nights. Luckily, I had nothing to worry about. The hotel is on a pretty busy street, so we always felt safe walking, even at night.
The only slightly negative thing is that there aren’t that many restaurants nearby. There is a subway across the street in the Westin and a Starbucks a little farther down the street. But other than that, you’d have to walk 10-15 minutes to find anything more decent.

As a guest traveling on business Michelle at the front desk made my stay very comfortable. Without asking she put me on a higher floor away from the elevators and away from the freeway so that I would have a quiet room with a view of the city. The hotel staff in general went out of their way to help with whatever I needed whether it be transportation, printing, or recommendations on what to do around the area. 10/10 would definitely return.

Great location. The hotel and rooms were nice. Parking is valet only by a third party vendor and the price was high at $50 per day.... but it was unlimited coming and going so that kind of made up for the price. Everyone was nice and polite. The price of the hotel was average for being in downtown L.A. I would definitely stay here again.

For my Birthday weekend of 2/23 I decided to spend and turn up in a luxurious pent house suit in the grand. Upon walking in my room, it was already decoraded with ballons and Champaign! I was so excited and happy. This particular staff member named Michelle S. Because of her impecable customer service skills, she allowed my friends to enter my room before hand and decorate for me! She even went out of her way to write me a personalized birthday note and had it delivered to my room on the day itself! I really enjoyed my stay and the staff. If you want a chic hotel with great lighting for swaggy photos have a stay at The Grand Hotel. And do not forget to request for Michelle!

We stayed for 4 nights, and loved being able to walk to Grand Central Market for breakfast. Although valet was $50 per night, the process was really quick and easy, and we could call valet from our room before we went down. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were always helpful. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Regrettably we remain closed to the public but once we reopen we will welcome those of all ages.

I'm not sure about all the markets, but it was about a 10 minute walk to the vegetable market that was on a boat, and in the opposite direction there was a plaza with a market that sold meat, cheese, baked goods, fresh produce and flowers.
There were only 2 of us in 1 room but I think there was a door that would open up to allow interconnecting rooms? Give the hotel a call they were very friendly and helpful.
The pool hours are 6am to 11pm daily.
