The entry and its marble hall look like it's the best hotel downtown. I would not say that. It is for sure a great location and a good hotel. The room, the alleys and the restrooms are clean. The breakfast is composed of pancake and feels good!

Stay on Main (fka the Cecil Hotel) is a great place if you want to travel cheaply and be centrally located to most all Tourist attractions in Los Angeles. I was solo and chose to book a room with it's own sink, bath, and shower. I was on the 6th floor, in an interior courtyard room. The room had a...

My friend and I spent two nights in this place. Have been to LA many times, never stayed Downtown though. Its terrible. For the money that we paid, I knew it wouldn't be great but I didn't expect a basic hostel. The images on the site are no way a correct representation of the reality of the place. I wish...

BED BUGS --- BED BUGS --- BED BUGS --- BED BUGS!!!! Together with my sister staying for five nights. Second night I noticed a small animal in my bed when I came back from the bathroom (which was clean and ok by the way); no biggy, killed it and slept further. This hotel is right in the heart of Downtown LA, however, it is still a bit far from Hollywood and what not. If this is your first time to LA and you want to do all the touristy stuff, you might be better off staying closer to Hollywood/Beverley Hills. However, for the price this was a good location - close...

We stayed in a double (two twin beds) with shared bathrooms on our floor. The redeeming qualities were: 1.) The staff were friendly (Eliu was especially helpful) and 2.) The rooms were clean. Overall, I wasn't impressed, yes it is a budget deal and it is sufficient, but there are some drawbacks that probably make it worth to pay a...

It was the worst hotel I've ever seen. For $100 I got a really tiny room. I couldn't believe that for those money you get no bath. So we supposed to share bath. Decided to cancel our rezervation and leave as soon as possible from that place. Don't waste your money.

Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
