Holes in the walls, old chest of drawers that didn't open. It was a clean as possible for such a run down place. The bedding was thin and old and so were the pillows. The locks didn't work very well, so slept very lightly that night. The breakfast for Sunday was great but Nothing for the next morning even though...

This is a unique place to says on the Ventral Coast. Close to many wineries, bike trails and shopping. We appreciate the friendly staff and clean rooms. The addition of the breakfast buffet was wonderful as well.

We had a really great experience here and it was perfect for our purposes. We were driving up the costal highway and 101 sort of winging it accommodation-wise and stumbled on this delightful roadside motel. The guy who runs it Kurt is really friendly and was able to rustle us up a room and a complimentary chilled bottle of local...

We needed a place to stay and had passed this hotel many times. It has a very unique location overlooking the hills and fields around the charming city of Los Alamos. The room was basic at best. The uniqueness of the property location make it fun. Kurt at the front desk was very accommodating and made us feel at home....

This is an old-fashioned motel on the side of Hwy 101. It is being slowly renovated but is completely comfortable even in it's old state. They have a spectacular European style breakfast in a dining room with a view. And there's a wine tasting room also> Great value for the area!

We chose the Skyview for it's value and location. Everyone was very accommodating. The tasting room was right next door with wonderful wines. Breakfast, although only on weekends, was very good. It is an older building but kept up well. We were happy with our choice.

Over the past three or four years, I've stayed at Skyview... and thought I'd bought into a good deal. I've seen changes.. the result of the new ownership. The changes are (perhaps) slow in the making, but overall there's been improvement. For people looking for reasonable rates.. in a well-located spot, and who have memories of a clean, but not...
