We stayed for 2 nights in the Roman room. It was very comfortable, but the best part was the service we received from Rod, our innkeeper. From the moment he greeted us, he was helpful and accommodating. The room includes a breakfast, delivered to your room through a dumb-waiter. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! As we were leaving...

From the outside the mansion looks like it should be in Disneyland instead of Los- Alamos, a tiny town a few hours north of Los Angeles. It's actually a hotel. It only has six rooms, each are different.and each one has a built-in hot-tub. And each room has a theme. One is a 50s room where the bed is actually...

What a wonderful little gem! Rod greeted us and gave us a run down of the town so we could walk around while we waited to check-in (we were a few hours early) and our Innkeeper Bailey was the sweetest! We stayed in the Roman room and it was magical. The murals are breathtaking, the Japanese style tiled hot tub...

My husband, Mr., "I don't do B & Bs -I like comfy hotels," was bragging to some friends about this great fun place in an unexpected location. Everything about the stay was top notch . You do have to like places with personality and quirkiness to appreciate the whole experience. example: Driving into the parking lot was a huge old...

I have to be honest, I am not much of a B&B kind of traveler. I like my hotels luxurious but special and I like the service to be perfect. I was very intrigued when I found The Victorian mansion, so intrigued in fact that I switched some days around for our anniversary trip to be able to stay a...

This is our second visit to the Victorian Mansion, both times in the pirate room because it was so amazing the first time we had to experience it again. We came here when we first started dating and have made it a tradition to come back every anniversary. I cannot say enough great things about this place. First of all,...

We stayed in the 50s room, which was a real kick. Bed in a 50s Caddy! Interesting system of lights all controlled electronically, & zany projector for watching movies in bed with the top of the windshield in the way. Bed was surprisingly comfy. We watched The Blob, hilarious. Bathroom quite cramped, the only negative. Breakfast next morning was great....

We're not big on B&Bs. But this is like no B&B you've ever seen. 6 themed rooms. We stayed in the Roman Room. You could literally never leave the room (but do! the town is cute!). We were greeted by the proprietor and then never saw another human being (yay!), even though all rooms were booked. The place is very...

"Celebrated my 50th birthday with my wife in beautiful California wine-country & The Victorian Mansion sticks out as the most memorable part of our weekend. We stayed in the 50's themed room (50 yrs old), and were overwhelmed with the detail and overall layout of the room...Very fun!!! There is plenty to do in the area if you are looking...

We took a chance having read a review that Los Alamos is developing to be the in place over weekends. The only place available that seemed 'special' appeared to be The Victorian Mansion. When we checked in, we realised that it would be a fun place for one or two nights for young couples who want to experience the 'extraordinary'...
