This is a unique place to stay. If you like maritime history and something off the beaten path you will enjoy this. The self guided tour is great, you can access almost portion of the ship, from the bridge to the bilge. The ship is a bit "tired" so if you are looking for a high end hotel this may...

Worst stay in a hotel I've ever had. Room wasn't very clean, bathroom was absolutely filthy. Had a shower and the entire bathroom practically flooded. They even tried to charge us a lot extra to get a window in the room! Absolutely awful hotel and experience. Ridiculously overpriced and definitely not worth it.

We went to visit the queen Mary last week, what an old ship she is looking, the history tour was very good and our guide kept you well informed throughout the tour, I know the ship is now an hotel, but I don't think I would have liked to have stayed on the ship, but that's just my opinion. There...

My 17 year old son and I had a great time. Exploring, eating and learning. Tony, our dinner host and guide, was fun to listen to as were the other guests at Dining with the Spirits. The Tea Room helped us experience new foods we would never have tried without the sampler. We agreed beforehand we had to try everything...

We spent an hour and a half sorting through the memorabilia and life of the royal family. Staff here were knowledgable, happy to share stories and information. Well done and a must do when in the area!

The service was outstanding. The family suite exceeded our expectations for ship accommodations. However, the walls are very thin, and staying with children meant I was hyper conscious of them making too much noise and disturbing the guests on either side of us.

For people who just want a regular hotel room you should probably not bother going to the Queen Mary. You will be better off at the Marriott. For those interested in history and ships this is the place to go. The rooms are generally in very good condition but they are quite old, this is what makes the ship unique...

Wife wanted to go to Catalina island for our 30th Anniversary, but the timing wasn't right to hop the Ferry. I remembered a National Geographic article > 40 years ago about the Queen Mary and it's eventual anchorage in Long Beach. Kept this as a secret and as we drove up, she asked "Where's the Hotel"? To her amazement, this...
