I have been in Marriotts across the country and this is the first one I wanted to leave after just getting there. The lobby and restaurant were nice but the rooms need a lot of work. Exposed wiring at outlets, black and moldy caulking in bathroom. Old holes in walls filled but not sanded or painted properly. AC/heater starting to...

This was our first trip to Long Beach and the first 4 days were very good. On the Wednesday evening, there was a power outage that affected a large area of Long Beach including the hotel. The hotel didn't have an emergency power supply so that night was spent in darkness with no AC and no hot water the next...

Stayed here for a meeting with a large number of co-workers. The exterior of the hotel looks dated, but the lobby and restaurant area looked like they got a recent upgrade. The rooms were fine, your standard courtyard rooms. The restaurant was usually pretty busy at night, unfortunately the bar closed pretty early. Breakfast was very good, but clearly couldn't...

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our hotel and for recognizing our public space renovations. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed James Republic and apologize that we closed earlier than you'd hoped in the bar area. We're also really sorry that you had to venture out for breakfast after your second morning with us. We...

Stayed at the Courtyard in Long Beach over a weekend in early December, 2014. At check in there were only double beds available, and I had requested a king bed room *. To accommodate us, hotel courtesy staff issued us an accessible room. Larger doors, more space in bathroom, more open room to allow for wheel chair/handicap accessibility. This was...

Everyone who works here is awesome. The restaurant, James Republic was outstanding. As I drove up the streets I noticed some really cool looking shops. I wished I had more time to check them out. I would definitely stay here again.

It has a great location. There is a grocery store within walking distance as well as many restaurants and bars including a pizzeria and congregation bar which has excellent food. The hotel again is centrally located. The one thing is it is a little old and have done some inside renovations in the lobby as well as the room but...

You know those hotels...you turn on the shower and the water pressure is so weak it hardly washes off the soap. Not thus one. Wanted to just stand and enjoy. Typical courtyard, great service, free amenities.

I stayed here for one night during a recent business seminar held at this hotel. I have to say I really liked it. The rooms were clean modern and convenient, and the location is nice because close to the shore. The staff was courteous and helpful. I didn't get to try out the swimming pool and Jacuzzi because of timing....

I stayed here for two nights while at a conference which was at the main conference centre. Great check in, quick, simple, no problems. My room on the 4th floor I felt was a little tired and dated. Two nice beds and the room is a good size (by UK standard it's huge). To be honest I only slept in...
