The hotel is in a good location in Long Beach, but the upgraded rooms were a disappointment. We were first upgraded (due to status) to a larger room on the top floor, but it had a connecting door and we could easily hear our neighbors. They moved us to a room just below without a connecting door, the squealing of...

The fascility has good access to Long Beach shore line. The map handled by reception was not good. Copy of copy and awkward. I believed that Marriott always hand visitor a printed Marriott logo version but this was not the case. I automatically imaged a map handled at Marriott LAX but, not this case. Not even a print. Just a...

Nice hotel within walking distance to at least 50 places to eat. Clean rooms but iffy WiFi. Outrageously expensive parking. Close to the Saint Mary attraction and downtown Long Beach. Cool shopping village and restaurant comes nearby. Would go back again.

Thank you Genodog! We truly appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately with metered parking on the streets around us, we don't have much choice but to charge for parking. But we are glad our little hotel and our great town made up for that! hope to see you again soon!

Walked into chic renovated lobby that smelled very nice. Three people were standing at the front desk and I scanned all three to see who would assist me. Two employees smiled, but literally stepped back and quietly talked to each other. The third employee smiled and welcomed me. Since I checked in online, she just had to verify my cc,...

Overflow hotel for events at the convention center, but still a good hotel. Save $40 - $90 per night versus the Hyatt and Westin. Room was clean and pretty modern. If you can, try and get a room with view of the Queen Mary. Check in could have been better. Arrived at 10AM, would have thought our room which was...

I stayed her on business while attending a convention in downtown LB. I was disappointed as the AC was substandard and did not cool well, and the room was dirty. There was hair all over the bathroom wall, pink mold in the soap dish in the shower. I should have mentioned it to the hotel, however I did not want...

Thank you kjuiceman! We really appreciate the feedback... we do take it to heart and use it to make our hotel better. We are very lucky to have great owners, and they are replacing most of our A/C units this summer. With the help of the amazing ladies that work in housekeeping here we will fix the rest. Thank you...

We were at a big teachers conference and we were still able to get a room downtown close to the conference. Excellent hotel and close to the harbor and restaurants. Comfortable bed and nice shower! Also the room was extra clean!!!

We only stayed here for a single night, but it was very nice. The staff were friendly and nice. The rooms were clean, and fairly decent size. There could have been a little more advance notice that parking there was not free, so I guess that was the one downside to the place. When in Long Beach again, I'll most...

Hello Petrie_Dish! Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. Being in an urban environment where street parking is not free, we do have to charge for parking. I am sorry you did not know sooner. Fun part is you can park and not have to move the car as we have so many great things...

We decided to stay in Long Beach instead of staying closer to the Port of San Pedro. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The room was fine and the location was in walking distance to numerous restaurants and a very nice wine bar. The front desk called a taxi for us and they were there within minutes. Good service!

After a few days in Venice and a few days in Vegas this was our last stop with our extended family before we all flew home. What a great hotel to finish at.
