We overnight 1 night here at this simple motel. Hwy 395's secret spot. The owners are very nice and accomadating, extra towels, extra coffee packs. This location may be off 1 block from the main street, but it is very quiet. If you cross the msin street, there is laundry mat, and next door is Alabama Hills Cafe..

This is a small motel with a small number of rooms - maybe 7 or 8. We only got a King bed even though we wanted 2 beds. It's clean and has a fridge and an ancient microwave. We didn't have a tub but had a shower. Good for a night. We were in #5. It has free wifi.

I turned up in Lone Pine thinking I could stay at the numerous 'brand' motels which are around. This was not the case, and every motel was taken. I ended up at the Timerline as there was nothing else available. Nevertheless, the family who run/own the hotel were nice and the rooms were clean. There are perhaps 5-6 rooms all...

We have stayed here at least 4 other times on our way to Southern CA. It is usually the least expensive option that isn't a hostel or flop house but that still means you pay $70 to $99. The family that runs the motel is very nice and the rooms are basic and clean with older furniture and dated bed...

My girlfriend and I stayed here on a Monday night after a long drive from Las Vegas through Death Valley. TripAdvisor had the Timberline listed with the best rate for all motels that evening in Lone Pine. When we drove up the property was small, dark, and the sign was not very bright, so my first impression was that the...

When I travel I look for a few things in a motel; price, safety and cleanliness. This motel has all three. If you are looking for a 5 star plush hotel this is not it. However, if you are looking for a safe, clean, affordable and friendly place to stay this place is it! They have a small number of...

Price was right. I just needed someplace basic and safe to stay while passing through town and meeting others early down the road for a trip to camp in Death Valley. Family run basic motel. About 8 or so rooms. Lady at desk was very nice. EZ - right off 395. Walk up to the 395 strip and get a...

The owner was so friendly and helpful. The room is basic but very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Also has a good size flat screen tv and very fast wifi. It is a very good value considering the prices for other hotels in the area. I would definitely return when in the area.

We gave this a poor to help average out the 4 star rating, which this is not. Bed was extremely hard. I had to bring in a foam pad I carry for bad motel beds And my partner who can sleep on most anything had a bad nights sleep, finding it too hard. Sheets were very scratchy because they were...

This is my third visit to this nice little motel. If anything, it has improved in quality. Nice linens and towels, quality coffee for the in-room coffee maker, comfortable bed and as always -- very quiet. The best accommodations bang for the buck in town. Folks at the front desk are pleasant and very helpful.
