Lemon Cove Village RV Park earns rave reviews for its immaculate cleanliness, with guests consistently commending the well-kept grounds and spotless facilities. The service is generally celebrated for its friendliness, although a few travelers have experienced moments of unresponsiveness. While the spacious rooms with mountain views are a hit, some guests have called out issues with booking flexibility.
The amenities, including a pristine pool and pet-friendly areas, are popular, though limitations in the shower facilities and store inventory have been noted. However, concerns about hidden fees and the overall value proposition leave some visitors feeling discontented.

Detailed Reviews
We enjoyed our stay at Lemon Cove RV park. It’s a small park, with beautifully maintained grassy areas and a large dog run that all the dogs in the park used (enthusiastically) every night!
Since we had been to Sequoia National Park before, we were looking for hikes outside of the park, where our two dogs could have more freedom to run around, with less people. Lake Kaweah was a short drive from Lemon Cove, and once we parked our car and made it out of the parking lot, we found ourselves walking along the beautiful river, on a flat, paved road. The road ended after 1..5 miles, where the river met up with the lake! There were stickers that meant we couldn’t let the dogs off their leashes, but they didn’t seem to mind. We came away with a happy memory, and lots of great pictures too!

We had the pleasure of staying here while visiting Sequoia National Park. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi had great download speed despite being told it was hit or miss. The Grounds are nice with some areas of green grass especially in this time of a major drought. The pool is clean and inviting. The sites are gravel and level with an ample amount of gravel which helps with any dirt that may lay below. The park is only 30 miles from the campground making it a good location. We will be back it's a great place to stay.

This was a very nice campground for the price It was easy to find, easy to park the 5th wheel in the pull through site. The laundry was less expensive than most and the very best thing is that it was close to the Sequoia National Park! We would use this campground again.

We chose this location as the pictures showed that each space has a little grass, with a picnic table, and there is a grassy area so our kids could play. We arrived to a completely dead RV park. The only grass was at the office. They tried to say it was because it's summertime, but the office had green grass, just not the spaces. They charged an extra $10 per day for RVs over 37', then had the audacity to tell us to only use 2 AC units if ours were equipped with 3. Firepits were available, but for an extra $10 per day charge (which was just an old washing machine drum), and firewood was also available for $9 for a very small bundle. Women's bath house was fairly clean, but my husband said the men's side was dirty and didn't want to use them. Then he got yelled at for propping the door open to air it out when our son was using it as there was no fan. Laundry was $3 to wash and $2 to dry and no AC in the laundry facility, so it was HOT. No change machine in the laundry, so if you needed change, you had to get it when the office was open. Game room had no AC and was also very hot, so we never went in. Game room closed at 9pm. The only saving grace was the pool, which was very nice, the maintenance man kept it very clean, the only problem was that it closed at 8pm. It was still almost 100 degrees at 9pm and still light out, so that was stupid. If we left early, there were no refunds. They didn't check for our Good Sam Membership when we checked in, and we were told after the fact that they couldn't give us the discount after we had already checked in. Overall, would choose a different RV park next time. Only reason we stayed was because they wouldn't give a refund if we left early. We were told upon check in that one vehicle was allowed per space, but one morning, we got up and there was an RV, a vehicle, and a truck with a tent on it in one space. The space next to us one day had a travel trailer, 2 tents, and 2 vehicles. Guess the rules only apply to certain people.

We had reservations for a week in June. At check in, the staff told us that the park’s bathrooms and showers were closed because the entire sewer system was backed up but told us they were working on getting it fixed. The sewer pipe at our site was leaking that evening and maintenance came to spray something to minimize the smell. The next morning the problem appeared to be getting worse when sewage backed up inside a cabin. The smell was awful and we watched maintenance empty the contents of the cabin. When we asked again about the status of the sewer system, the staff stated they didn’t know when the repair would be fixed. The staff gave campers the opportunity to leave because of this uncertainty. We left because the stench was awful and didn’t want to spend our vacation with this problem. We received an email three days later stating that we would only be credited 50% for the night we stayed because the sewer system was down. We were still held responsible for our entire reservation despite it being a park maintenance problem. The owner hasn’t responded to any of our emails to discuss this further. The lack of professionalism has us shaking our heads. We don’t recommend staying here.

Sorry to read your negative review. As soon as the park was notified of the clogged sewer line we immediately called a professional plumbing company to fix the problem. This happened on a weekend, we hired two separate companies to come out and help fix it. The problem was remedied by Sunday morning, all campers affected were given a partial credit for the days they were without sewer. We also arranged with a neighboring business down the road for our campers to dump at that facility at no charge, if needed.. We also brought in extra porta potty's. Please remember all other amenities of the park were open and operating, and available for our campers to use at that time. This problem could have been avoided entirely if a camper had not flushed inappropriate items down the sewer system causing the blockage. As you stated at the beginning of your review, upon check in you were notified of the current sewer situation and you elected to keep your reservation, check in and stay. It does not seem fair to Lemon Cove Village RV Park that you chose to stay and are now complaining about the sewer situation which we were in the process of repairing. In our opinion we did everything as quickly and professionally as possible. We kept all affected campers updated throughout the repair process.

We’ve stayed at countless RV Parks and were very disappointed in park. 1. The lady checking us in acted like she was extremely put out to check us in at 4pm. Just rude. 2. They nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING - fire pit $10, dump station $15 (for paying customers). 3. Office hours are 10a to 5pm outside that and you are SOL.
Reading another review that complained about the $15 dump fee. Management claims it’s only fair for those who pay for full hook ups. This is RIDICULOUS! When I pay for full hook ups it’s for the convenience of not having to hook up and drive to the dump station. Never have I been a paying customer at a park and had to pay extra to dump at the dump station!
I couldn’t have dumped even if willing to pay this ridiculous fee because at 8:30am on a weekday no one was working.
All that said I did give a star for the pool. It’s a nice pool and the one thing they don’t charge extra for.

Sorry to hear about your experience with the staff member that checked you in. She is no longer working at the RV Park. We offer firepits for rental for $10.00 for those guests that do not bring their own. Our office hours are 9am - 6pm ,7 days a week. We offer three levels of stay. Full hook up, partial hook up and water only sites. This allows the customer to choose at what level they want their RV stay to be. The dump station is an amenity that we offer to the general public and guests that have elected to not pay for a full hook up site. Glad you enjoyed the pool. Travel Safely

When your site cost between 60.00 and 80.00. There shouldn’t be such an extreme hourly surcharge of 25.00 for a 2.5 hour early arrivals when you have a 3pm check in he day is already wasted with such a late check in time as is. That’s over a 30% increase a way to nickel and dime you. If you want a 100.00 rate than just put your rate at that amount oh yea nobody would book it. When you book at the lower rate Which is high for the area you are stuck because you don’t have the 72 hr cancellation time they are going to get you either way.

Sorry to see your 1 star review of Lemon Cove Village RV Park. I understand that your complaint is reguarding our early arrival check in fee. When a customer makes an online reservation it clearly states the check in and check out times, and the cost if a customer would like to arrive early or stay late. We try to be flexible with our guests as far as arrival and departure times, that is why we offer early or late check in, if possible. I understand that you decided to stay in the parking lot until the stated check in time, which seems to have worked for you. Travel safely

We have stayed here for three nights. Last night arriving back at the campground after office hours imagine our surprise to find a lock on the dump station receptacle! Today we learn that they charge an additional $15 per use for the dump station. Even to registered and paying campers. This is the first time we’ve encountered this in hundreds of RV parks we’ve stayed at across the country. Strikes us as underhanded strategies to bilk customers of even more money. Buyer beware!

Greg, As we explained to you previously: The park has 3 types of rv sites for rent that the customer can choose when making their reservation. 1. Full hook-up........water....elec.....sewer 2. Partial hook-up......water......elec 3. Water only..............water The cost for each site varies.......the full hook-up being the most and the water only being the least.........When you made your reservation you selected, reserved and paid for the water and elec only site. This site is less expensive than the full hookup sites since it has no sewer hookup. It would not be fair to the guests that pay for a full hook up site to have a guest who paid for a site without sewer to dump at no extra cost. Our onsite staff offered you the use of our dump station at the regular cost for dump station use. Not sure how else we could have helped you. hope this makes sense Dirk

Do not make a reservation unless you are 100% sure that you are going to fulfill it!
I made a mistake and accidentally booked the incorrect dates and it resulted in me giving the campground $258 with no service provided.
To make matters worse, they would not answer the phone when I tried to call and correct the situation. I called 6 times and I was sent to voicemail every time. I left multiple messages with no call back. I borrowed a friend’s phone and called with their phone and they immediately answered. She said, “I was just getting ready to call you…”. She would not move my reservation to the correct dates and stated that she would give me a credit for one night towards a new reservation. So I have to pay an additional $200 to make a new reservation. This practice is obviously hiding deeper problems. If a campground cannot help you move a reservation without charging $250, it demonstrates there is something else going on. In addition, the terrible customer service shows me that this is an ongoing issue that they struggle to deal with. I feel that this company operates unethically, and that they make a large portion of their revenue by taking peoples money without providing a service.
I did make a clerical error as I planned a 3 month trip and had made over 50 reservations. Additionally, I was on Vancouver Island with nearly no cell service when I received a message about my reservation. I admit that I initially made a mistake, but I do not feel that my mistake caused any revenue loss to Lemon Cove. Their policy did cause major revenue loss to my trip and I want to make sure that it does not happen to anyone else.

stayed for two nights, the restrooms and showers were never cleaned. Hair and bandaid in shower drain. Supposedly there is a quiet time, yet the whole camp ground was allowed to stay loud with movies and radios well into the night. Also charging $15 dollars for a bag of ice, im pretty sure is illegal.
