We arrived at the Courtyard Marriott in the afternoon after a extremely stressful drive from Reno, NV to San Francisco if a monstrous Sierra Nevada snow storm. We were in the process of helping our daughter relocate from San Francisco to Reno. When we arrived at the Courtyard,

We live only about 30 minutes from here but my husband was having surgery at a local hospital. (Kaiser,San Rafael) and we wanted to be only 6 minutes away. I asked for a quiet room upfront because we were staying after his procedure. The Courtyard not only gave us what we

Nice clean room. The hotel had a restaurant but we didn't eat there so I can't comment on it. Close to the ferry to San Francisco. Not far from Sausalito which is why we close this hotel. Little mall nearby with some eateries.

We are Marriott elite so we almost always stay Marriott. Courtyards are nice accommodations but I feel this one is a little nicer than most. We had a very nice one bedroom suite. Great size with lots of towels and a nice desk and area for coffee with microwave and refrigerator.

Stayed here for the weekend. Check in was quick; I confirmed my check-in online and my card keys were ready when we arrived. The room was clean and quite; bed was comfortable, and everything in the room were in working order including the internet. The carpet was bit worn and

It is possible, you will want to start at Muir Woods in the morning at get there as early as possible. 'm hoping around 8AM entry to the park. You would leave our hotel at 7:15am. You will be able to get that done before and hopefully leave around 10:30am. From there, you will drive back toward the hotel, take 101 North to Highway 37. Take Highway 37 to Highway 29 and Napa Valley. At this point, I'm going to suggest going to Sonoma Valley. You can take Highway 12 North and visit about 2 or 3 vineyards. I would suggest to go north to Madrone Estate Vineyards. It is about 1 hour from our hotel. From there you can drive more North and visit more vineyards that spark your interest through the beautiful Sonoma Valley. I like Kunde, Landmark, for wine and St. Francis is fun for the castle. You can spend an hour or two at each one. Also pick up lunch at somewhere in between. Then, drive back to the hotel or next destination when the vineyards close around 4-5pm. it will be a 1hour and 10 minute drive back to the hotel if finishing at Kunde. Hope this helps and have a great day. Please google Sonoma wine map to see the layout.

Thank you for taking the time to consider our property for your travels. I will do my best to help. Our property is a nice way to visit the outside area of San Francisco and still be able to go to San Francisco. The ferry boat goes every 40 minutes or so Monday through Friday beginning around 5am and ending at 9:30pm. The weekend, however, only goes 5 times every 2 hours. So the weekend driving gives you more freedom. You would go over the Golden Gate Bridge to do so, and it's about a 30 minute drive to downtown SF. We are close to Muir Woods, Sonoma and Napa Valleys and are located in a small town area with lots of green hills. You'll see guests love the restaurants in walking distance to us, and our peaceful hotel with good service. We'd love for you to stay, but if you really need to be in the city everyday and it might be the weekend too, I'd advise to stay in the city. You will spend 1 to 1.5 hours a day in commuting. You may save $100+ a night, so it's a choice you'll have to make based on your needs. Our hotel has complimentary parking, but we do not have breakfast included with the room. We have a Bistro Restaurant that provides food for purchase, breakfast and dinner. I you have any questions, please give us a call. We are more than happy to help.

I apologize for the delay. I did not see a response question come in, so I did not see it. The hotel is about 4 minutes walking distance to the Marin Airporter. It costs $20 each way from SFO airport per person. It runs on every half hour from 4am to 12 midnight. This is the best, and most used, means of getting to and from the airport.
