Downstairs: check-in, large fireplace w/family room & games, leather sofas and chairs, bar, restaurant; fun mountain decor; large windows overlooking the back. Bfast was fine. Workers were fun, nice. Bedroom/bathroom: all rooms need to be gutted. Sheets, towels and bathroom floor were clean, which is important. I want to like this place, I really do. We imagine it's a bit...

Gross is an understatement. Charged $130.00 for a complete pit. We were stuck in a snowstorm and had already driven for 12 hours. Exhausted and stuck. We both laid in the bed with all our clothes on...jeans etc. Just to rest our eyes for a bit and luckily the chain controls lifted and we left. C'mon owners...you have a beautiful...

I stayed 2 nights for a family wedding . Paid 109.00 a night for 2 full size beds . To tv or phone in the room . Old wall heater. No continental breakfast. Small bathroom . Stand up shower. Restaurant was ok . Overpriced buffet meals. I probably would not have stayed there if it hadn't been for the wedding....

We stopped at the Strawberry Lodge for about 45 minutes to rest from our drive from Sacramento to Tahoe. It was November and there was a roaring fire in the grand fireplace. There were board games and chess, a piano (which someone randomly started to play, which was marvelous), the bar was open for a quick soda, and the rustic...

We spent 2 nights at Strawberry Lodge, enjoying nearby skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. We chose an upstairs room with sink, with shared bath down the hall. The room was very clean and convenient and the downstairs living room delightful with comfy recliner chairs and a roaring fire for evening relaxation. We were there mid-week when dinner is served in the...

They have modern games here, wonderful food, delightful owners, and a nice feel to it. you drive about 15 minutes to get to Sierra skiing and snowboarding slopes. the...

The night that would change my life... recently took up accomodation at the strawberry lodge in lake tahoes outskirts.. we had been driving all day and night to a house we had booked in the mountains and it had began to snow on the way to south lake tahoe, we were told to turn around by authorities and get snow...

We stopped late at night to buy snows chain for our vehicle as we were turned around and advised to stop here to purchase them. We were completely ripped off! We paid $120 for snow chains and were advised by a local the next day that we could have purchased these chains for $15-$20. Now I understand it was late...

Was visiting family in the area and wanted to take them out for breakfast on a Sunday. As we are in the middle of nowhere and too far to Tahoe our only choice was this lodge. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet which consisted of pancakes, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, and bacon. There was a plate of cookies...and...

So our first night we stayed in room 122. There were holes in the carpet, ants; no screens in the windows; etc. I was afraid to put my bare foot on the floor to use the bathroom and I am a rock climber so I am used to roughing it. When we came back from our first day of climbing;...
