We had a very pleasant stay for two nights in August. I can't add much to what has already been noted by others and can only agree with all the positive comments. Attractive, well-maintained motel and grounds. Rooms are small but very clean and very nicely decorated (more charming than most other motels). No refrigerator, microwave, or coffee in room...

We stayed here for two nights in early August, towards the end of an extended road trip that lasted 3 weeks, so had just about had enough of motel life by the time we got here. Fortunately the Ravenwood was probably the best single-storey motel we've ever stayed at in the US. I've seen some reviews where people seem to...

Just returned from a great road trip to the Redwoods in Northern CA. Would highly recommend Ravenwood Motel. The owner has expanded the complementary breakfast to include fresh fruit both cut up and whole, bagels, cereal, cottage cheese, yogurt, juice, and a hot chocolate and cappacchino machine.

We called for a room the night before arrival and were able to obtain one. When we arrived it was late in the evening and we were still greeted with fantastic welcomeness that is not often found. We inquired about availability the next night and were able to get one. Our belongings were moved for us to our new room...

We were travelling on motorcycles throught the Redwood forest and stayed for a night at the Raven wood. It was a great spot, reasonably priced, very clean and modern and the hosts were wonderful. On this trip we stayed at a number of lovely spots but this one stood out for value for money. Highly recommended!

What a neat little place! Our room was comfortable and clean, and the grounds were really lovely and very well kept. The owners were friendly and fun to chat with. We had a great experience and would definitely stay there again!

I was kind of worried about this place ahead of time. The person I spoke to on the phone making the reservations was okay but didn't sound that friendly, frankly. And I was afraid it would be in the middle of nowhere. Well, it kind of was! And it sure looks dated from the highway. But it was a nice...

We went here for a family reunion for my grandmother's 85th birthday. The motel itself was lovely. The rooms were cute and comfortable. But I have never been so poorly treated in my life! The cleaning person was rude to the point of being abusive and I was afraid to leave anything of value in the room. The owner began...

This motel is advertised as group friendly. Our group rented four suites and two rooms for two days. We had a family reunion there and were made to feel very unwelcome from the beginning. The maid complained about cleaning the rooms, but when we told her she did not need to clean the rooms on the second day, she told...

We were very happy with this motel, which we found to exceed our expectations. It was very clean, and the owner was helpful. He is kind of a crusty old guy, though and a heavy smoker. However, the room did not smell smokey at all, as I am sensitive to cigarette smoke. We really liked the size of the room...
