We were disappointed in our stay at this property. But first, the staff were wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, individually cooked and reasonably priced (offset by the $10 breakfast coupon.) The location is convenient. Parking is free. The disappointment stems from the fact that the pictures from the website fail to capture just how dated this building is... More

I'm a fan of historic restored hotels, and the Requa Inn is a delightful example of how to do it right. The slightly unlevel floors, the dark wood paneling, the guitar beside the fireplace, and the top-notch comfortable bed all combine to exude the perfect ambiance. A wonderful place to relax and spend the night.

Stayed overnight during a horrendous storm - and it was an ideal place to shelter, with kind friendly staff (who upgraded our room) - not to mention treating us to nibbles and samples of a local liqueur. Breakfast was homemade and fresh - by far the best we had in the seven weeks spent travelling the USA

After a long day of adventuring in the Redwoods this was the perfect place to stay a night. Super cozy, wonderful views, and tasty food. I loved going through the old scrapbooks of the Inn's history while snuggled on a sofa next to the fireplace (the complimentary Port and brownies didn't hurt either). If you've been hiking, I recommend a... More

In ordinary weather or in the summer, The Historic Requa Inn would be a delightful unique bed and breakfast experience. In one of the worst storms of the fall in northwest California, the Inn was an ideal respite. It’s just plain fun to be there. The Inn is a rambling old house situated next to the Klamath River and decorated... More

Very friendly & helpful owner upon check-in. Charming B&B, nicely furnished Dolason King size bed room in clean modern style, without the usual musty smell of B&B. Issues with the window screen, drops off when glass panel lifted. Very poor layout of a very compact bathroom but with modern shower & not over bathtub. Should consult Japanese way of designing... This is a great place to stay when you are out exploring the Redwood Forest! The inn was super cute and the staff were very flexible with our late arrival. Brief stay here on our way up the Northern Calif.- Oregon coast. Old wooden building pretty much what I expected, on the Klamath river. Clean, old fashioned bathrooms, but with updated decor/facilities. The big surprise was the dinner. Served family style with a set menu, we did not expect the quality and tastiness of each dish. They use locally grown... More
