Kirkwood is by far my favorite ski mountain in Tahoe. It has diverse and extremely challenging terrain, a groovy vibe, very friendly and helpful staff! The Wall bar serves great cuisine and has a killer beer selection. The staff is great and they always remember me. It's easy to get to and worth the extra 30 minutes to get deep...

Stayed in a studio with loft that would sleep at least six. Very clean, modern and nice, with everything you'd want for a ski trip. Very comfortable furniture and ample closet space. Bed was a little soft and springy for me but not uncomfortable. Gas fireplace gets the place warm in a hurry and our unit had a fan in...

I am a HUGE Kirkwood, the slopes, fan but if you are looking to be impressed with the accommodations, keep heading to South Lake Tahoe or venture to the North Shore. The mountain is FANTASTIC to ski or ride, but it ends there. My wife, a friend and I stayed at The Mountain Club, Kirkwood's premier lodging, in a premium...

Mountain Club is conveniently located close to the lodge and the lifts. My bed was very comfortable and the experience was ok. Some not so great things. My room thermostat showed 75-76 degrees whether heating was turned off or on. Reception said 'Mountain Club runs hot'. Too hot for me to sleep without opening the window, which brought the roar...

We spent two nights at the Mountain Club August 2016 to attend a wedding at the Hideout. It was not an easy reservation to make because the property managers were not clear on which property I would be renting after asking many questions about the property. We thought we were renting at The Lodge but on arrival we were booked...

We went there in June, between ski and mountain bike seasons. Had the place practically to ourselves, Payed under $100 with all taxes for a condo right on the slopes. The only downside was most everything was closed, except for a snack bar and the Kirkwood Inn.It was full of solitude, give you that. Depends on what you want. Pretty...

We rented a one-bedroom apartment at the Mountain Club for the weekend. It has a small living room with fireplace, a kitchen and bathroom downstairs, and an upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The building is right by the slopes and in the "village", opposite the Lodge. There are ski lockers on the lobby level which are very convenient and we parked...

I paid for a room at the 'kirkwood resort', depicted in the photos on hotels.com and located adjacent to the ski lifts (1377 Meadows Drive). Instead of staying in the Mountain Club, I was placed in 'the meadows', a completely different building a 1/2 mile away. The meadows is a low-end condo building, not a hotel. There's no staff there....
