The husband and wife owners take you into their home and their hearts to the point that being with them is just as rewarding as the square dancing. We invited our friends from San Diego to book the other room available, and they enjoyed the stay so much then booked a third year. We booked our 4th stay as well.... More

We wanted to spent the night in Monterrey …but we couldn´t find a room, because we only wanted to book one night at the weekend. We read good critics about this place in Trip and when we arrived to the house and Barbara opened the door the first image was fantastic, a very nice house, great decoration, full of lights... More

What a great place. What great people. I was traveling through King City and found out that all the chain hotels were sub par. I luckily found this bed and breakfast in the phone book and I was so glad I did. The property is beautiful. My room was HUGE and the bathroom was amazing. I had to leave very... More

The Carriage House is not just a Bed and Breakfast. It is a completely comfortable stay with hosts that make you feel like family. The first time I visited the Carriage House Inn was with my parents. The second time I was there, I took my girlfriend (because I knew she'd be impressed). Next, I took my fiance' (who was... More

The Carriage House Inn is definitely THE place to stay if you find yourself in the need of a room in the King City area. We travel up and down Hwy 101 fairly often, and are delighted to finally find somewhere to stay other than the standard mediocre-motel-by-the-freeway option. The two rooms each have their own bath, and are comfortable,... More

CHI in King City is quiet, profoundly comfortable, and completely relaxing. The food is excellent - as a matter of fact, one can ask for specifics for breakfast (if you don't like eggs, just say so!). The rooms (two rooms available) are clean and cozy. The Inn keepers are friendly and available to answer any questions about King City and... More

This was my first stay at a B & B. I'd heard stories from friends that had traveled Europe and used them exclusively. I assumed B & B's to be very communal; something between a college dorm and military barracks. This certainly was not the case at the Carriage House Inn. The owners, Barbara and Frank, are both genuine and... More

I happened to be in King City, CA for two nights. Most people will never say those words. However, should you find yourself saying "I'm going to need to stay overnight in King City, CA" you would do well to stay at a very nice little Bed & Breakfast called the Carriage House Inn. Barbara and Frank Starkey are the... More
