This is a lovely small hotel with a nice pool, spacious rooms and very genuine and friendly staff who have typical Khmer charm. The place had only been open a few weeks when we stayed, so allowances must be made for the breakfasts, which started off with a bland buffet with a poor selection but then progressed to a menu based order later which was better, but still a little lacking flavor wise for the money.

The key feature of this hotel is the location. It's down a side street and not really immediately near anything. This is great if you want some peace and quiet as other parts of town can be a bit noisy. The management provide a free shuttle bus to wherever you want to go in town but you have to find your own way back. At the time of writing at least half of the local Tuk Tuk drivers had never heard of the place, even when confronted with the hotel business card. So just say you're going to DD Mark II guesthouse which is nearby.

Sakha beach is about 5 minutes away by Tuk Tuk which is quite convenient, and another few minutes away is Serendipity road which has plentiful restaurants. So it's not too bad.

Rooms were perfect, a fruit basket everyday and some rabbit shapes made out of your fresh towels a nice touch.

Overall recommend especially if you're not in town for the nightlife on account of location.

Positive: located near by Sokha beach (5 minutes by shuttle bus from hotel, you can use shuttle all time, when you want, it's free).
Hotel is just built, very good staff: they are very helpfull and smiley, room is cleaned twice a day, fruit plate is refilled every day, they do amazing things with your bed, using flower decoration
there are a nice pool and sauna
room is big, there is a full size separate bed, available for the child
restaurant is just ok, food is good, but breakfast choice is very simple
right now there are not many visitors, so it looks like your own oasis

Negative
A bit far away from the beach and down town, however shuttle bus, tuk-tuk and car are available

The hotel is currently in an isolated area, but the area is being developed. My room was quite nice, apart from the pot collecting the water draining from the air conditioner, which I had to empty before it spilled over the bathroom floor.
The staff were friendly enough, but when 2 western men tried to get into my room while I was in bed, the response from reception was "Sorry madame". I had to suggest that they do something about it.
Sihanoukville is not a safe place for sole female travellers.

The hotel is in a very dodgy street in the middle of nowhere. They say it is close to the beach but it is more like a 10 minute drive, if you can find the way. In the description it says city view, which is absolutely not true as there is no view at all. It says the hotel offers parking but there is no parking spaces only parking along the street witch was a challenge as they where suddenly closing the whole street without warning.
We had to change rooms twice because in the first room we could there was what sounded like rats in the ceiling and walls. Very gross! In the second room the toilet was not working. We got a third room in the end and stayed there for the rest of the stay. The bathroom however was very dirty.
The hotel staff did help us but it did not seem as if they were sorry or offer any sort of refund.
The hotel was quite cheap so it has that going for it, but for a four star hotel you should expect more. Would not recommend this hotel.

The rooms has a very bad smell of mold. They are aware of the problem cause upon arrival they had to "check" the room before entering it so they could spray it with airfresher - it lasted for 5 hours. Other quest did complain about it aswell but they will not admid the problem.
The rooms are very dark and they are in a bad need for a makeover. Electric plugs, shower faucet hanging out of the wall, water pipes on the floor etc. (See picture) They doesnt seem to be well cleaned either.
The hotel is badly organized and the breakfast menu is like winning the lottery when you pick what you want from the menucard. What do they have today - or not??? They are serving Coca Cola at the breakfast - does that make sence? The serving at the "restaurant" reminded of the Fawlty Towers. For example ordered we pancakes and after 40 seconds we got them - impressed by so fast - but the pancakes were cold and dry and we sended it back to the kitchen and as a "punishment" they didnt wanna serve some new until we insisted on it.
The hotel is placed in the middle of nowhere and there is a lot building going on. The area is dirty and smelly from garbage. See the picture from the entrance of the hotel!
This is not a four star hotel and you should get it very cheap if you wanna dare to stay there.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night but wish I could have stayed longer! The staff were so helpful and friendly and advised me of a free shuttle service they provide to the city centre for all the restaurants/bars. I used this service and it was excellent! The room was amazing, so clean and the attention to detail was a nice change to previous hotels I've stayed in. A buffet breakfast was included with a nice selection to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully be back one day.

We stay at the Visnu Boutique Hotel for one night only but we really enjoyed it. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and the staffs are so helpful they agreed to take us outside to buy food at night. In short, great hotel with good service.

Really lovely warm welcome by all staff, I am travelling alone and was made to feel welcome and relaxed.

Pool was beautiful and clean and lots of sun beds to relax around.

Food was also good and wide range of Cambodian and western food.

The rooms are what made it have that edge. It was gorgeous. Amazing bed with lots of comfy pillows, soft sheets and bedding. Gorgeous bathroom with shower and bathtub.

TV, fridge, free hot drink making facilities and free water in room.

Cleanliness was excellent.

Location is good only a ten minute walk to the hustle and bustle. If you don't fancy walking the staff are happy to take you into town for FREE!! Either by car or moped. Really excellent service.

Really enjoyed it here and would definitely go back. Would recommend it to anyone!

We stayed in Visnu for just one night on our way from Koh Rong to Thailand in january 2017. The location is a little far off the centre but tje hotel provided a shuttle.

The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious. We liked the pool and breakfast was ok. Otherwise everything was nice but we did not sleep much due to some party behind the hotel and after that the cocks started their morning show.

My friend and I decided to treat ourself with a stay at a nicer and more luxurious hotel. Even though this hotel is a bit away from the city, the hotel offered free transport to the city and back again, which made it all really easy. The rooms were very cozy and had a great bathroom along with it. The pool area was small, which might be a problem during high season, but it didn't mean anything to us.
Overall it was a great stay and the staff at the hotel helped us figuring out, what to do with our days there!

The bed I had was fine. It was comfortable enough for my two night sleep. The pillows were a bit hard and a bit high for me, so if you need a softer one, you should ask them. Regards.
