Just to get it right: I can't say anything about the hotel, just the restaurant. We had a nice dinner for two there and that evening there was live music, a Khmer lady with guitar - and she was surprisingly good, too. Not world-class but pleasant to listen to. The staff was attentive and the food good, they DO make...

Dated decor, multiple power outlets, pool, close to beach, eateries and pubs. Restaurant on premises.. Fair quality of food. Local food better than western food. Extra towels available ie. tour of other islands. Smoking inside. Mini fridge and tv in room. Had shower over bath in bathroom. Enough English to get by at front counter, however poor English mostly at...

Looked after very well by the local Khmer staff but was in complete awe of the arrogance shown by the ex-pat "staff" (backpackers, travellers, friends-of-the-owners, or otherwise unemployed persons, on their way through SE Asia, more interested in their social lives and cocktails than anything else). It's rather unprofessional to be greeted by a western 'hostess' with cocktail in hand...

The location is very nice. Most of the staff is helpfull and friendly. We stayed in a AC room the first night and then replaced to a fan room. When its hot during the day, prepare for very hot nights than as well, but overall the fan room is a good room. The restaurant serves good food. The communal place...

This is the second time I stayed at New Sea View Villa on Serendipity beach. As other reviewers have pointed out there is, in fact, no sea view, but the beach is a 30 second walk from the hotel. As to the noise from partiers that others have complained about, it didn’t bother me, but since I was there during...

English run guest house, very clean nice rooms, well maintained and nicely decorated. The food in the restaurant is OUTSTANDING, the best western food iv found in Asia so far! And between 5-6.30pm you can eat a starter &a main for only $5! The pumpkin soup is gorgeous, blue cheese salad yum, and the steak is amazing!! I highly recommend...

The rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff are great. There is a communal area with a pool table and a few other games. It is located on the main road, but it still makes it a 5-10 minute walk to the beach bars where the action is. I recommend this place is you are on a middle range budget.

We arrived at this hotel after an exhausting coach journey, we were able to check in a good few hours early which was ideal as we were so tired. We were shown our room which was clean, tidy and spacious. We were given a complimentary drink and cold flannel on arrival. The manager, Amanda, who is English, helped us sort...

I checked in here after leaving my previous hotel due to hot water issues. The only room they had was on the third floor and a single with a fan for $10 a night. What a deal!! A stone's throw from the beach, a mini mart next door and a great little restaurant on the ground floor; what more could you...

We checked into our room and got hit by the worst smell we've experienced on our trip. A heady aroma of feces, urine , ammonia and cigarette smoke. I can't believe this room was actually considered fit for people to sleep in. We inform informed counter of our problem and if we could change rooms or get a refund. The...
