At first we stopped here because we were broke. Then after trying several "so called " superior hostel's in the area we came back!!! The staff are relaxed yet helpful and the place is clean! What more could you wish for in Cambodia?

There is a swimming pool. A dance floor. All sorts of little hidey holes to drink in private. Food hatches next to the bar. A big screen if they ever put it into action, sometimes it is. AND 25 cent beers between 8 and 9 pm! There could be another fan on the customers at the bar, but that is...

I stayed here one month ago because of the advertisement $2/night. I did not expect much about the quality since the price was too cheap. But it turned out to be far worse than expected. The bed was super dirty with enormous number of bugs with sickening atmosphere inside the small crowded room, and toilet was never cleaned. Moreover, the...

I stayed twice at Utopia, and yes, the first time it was worth the $2 (which is obviously little); I had a fun time. I dont care about loud music or 20 people sleeping in one room (this is what earplugs are made for), or careless mid-20's staff working for food & accomodation (not my business). I'm against bad-reviews-bashing for...

25 person dorm was very bad, but it only cost $2. Stayed NYE as everywhere was packed and only slept a few hours after being up late before moving elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend at all unless everywhere else is full. Hot, cramped, door open all night, 4 people on thin mats in each pod of bed, poor and dirty bathrooms etc....

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed! Dorms of 25 people, beds side by side on plastic thin beds with stained, smelly sheets! I saw quite a few cockroaches and rats hanging around! Would have moved places but everywhere was fully booked for NYE. The pool was green and unusable! On saying that, this has made us...

Horror hole. Stayed in some ghettos in my time but this takes the biscuit. Rooms damp and linen used by God only knows how many others. Booked in then promptly went to find somewhere else. No excuse for such shabby offerings.

The first thing we noticed at the bar is a distinct smell of damp and vomit. Drinks were fine and cheap. We had to move from our first seats as the cushions were damp and we were getting bitten, plus we saw 2 giant rats running around. The second spot beside the pool seemed nice but we started to smell...

I didn't stay here, I only went to the bar as beers were $0.50 usd and at happy hour they were $0.25. I did look at staying here but wasn't a fan of the communal bed idea. One big bed with a bunch of cheap, thin mattresses thrown next to each other. Looked quite dirty as well but for $2...
