A serendipity find this week while traveling northbound 395 to San Francisco. Extremely helpful staff, clean, clean, clean one bedroom until with cozy well-equipped kitchen. Free laundry, coffee bar an event every evening. Seemed like home-town America circa 1955. Tiny village, limited services in spring, but a wonderful respite from places more touristy like Mammoth Lakes and Death Valley. Do...

Thank you for the positive feedback and a wonderful description of our little village. That time of year can be tricky, especially with the less than spectacular winter we had this past year. Many of the local businesses are very seasonal, and when the season fizzles, they may close their doors until late spring/early summer. From your photos, it looks...

What a lovely Inn nestled in the quaint town of June Lake. No need to trot up those steps to the entrance unless you want to. It's good exercise and fun to do once. But if your room is upstairs and I hope it is, then prepare for a view and some more steps. Such a beautiful place. It has...

The altitude is certainly breathtaking - even for those of us who have lived here for a while. I still have to pause to stop and catch my breath after climbing those stairs. Nevertheless, anything worth while is worth working for, like our magnificent view. The view can also be enjoyed from our sun deck, ground floor, no stairs! Thanks...

We just returned from four wonderful days at the Heidelberg. This is our second time staying there and we loved it even more this time around. We stayed in a 2 bedroom on the first floor that opened up to the balcony with breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevadas. We were lucky enough to get lots and lots of snow...

Thank you for such a wonderful review and what an experience having the whole resort to yourself. It is not often that I can spend that kind of individual time with the guests and I enjoyed the root beer floats with your family. We hope to see you in the summer when you can make it out to Walker Lake...

We stayed for a week as an exchange for our timeshare. The location of the property was fabulous. Great access to the town and lakes in the area. Of course we were there in the off season so there wasn't much open. The tavern across the street was open though and served good food. The general store was also open...

Thank you for your detailed review with lots of information that will be useful to other guests. The lack of an elevator is always a good thing to point out, as it can make a significant difference in the quality of your stay. We absolutely recommend that guests who need or want a downstairs unit to contact the resort directly...

On our recent California Coast road trip, this was the nicest of the 9 or so places we stayed. It is a time-share place that rents out units. Our second floor unit (no elevator) had a nice kitchen, living room and private bedroom. We pre-paid through Travelocity, which confused the staff a bit, but worked out ok. The Travelocity bill...

3 of us stayed here 2 nights in October. Our room was the perfect size with a bedroom for me and my wife, and my brother in law had the sleep sofa. Very clean. Wifi could have been better. The main lobby area is very big, open, and kind of charming. We cooked dinner, kitchen was stocked ok, just remember...

Thank you for your response. The elevator and the wifi continue to overshadow all of the other wonderful things we have to offer, and at the moment, only the wifi is something that we can improve. Our local service provider has been working to improve the area-wide service, and we are making upgrades to our equipment to improve our signal...

We arrived without any reservations late in the day. While the greeting could have been warmer, the walk-in rate was very reasonable, and once we had introduced ourselves, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The suite was spacious, clean, and well appointed, the location fine, and everything went smoothly. We are pleased to recommend it.

We exchanged our timeshare in vistana village Orlando FL for a week at Heidelberg Inn Resort. We checked in on 9/1/13. If you are used to staying at nice resorts, prepare yourself for big dissapointment. The presidential 2-bedroom unit was the size of a large hotel room, extremely small for the 4 of us. There's no way you can comfortably...
