My husband and I recently stayed at the Tucker Peak Lodge with our two boys. Great stay! The view was breathtaking. The room was perfect, a king, two twins and a private bathroom. The room was spacious so we didn't feel crowded as we do sometimes in regular hotel rooms. The room had coffee which was pleasant to have upon...

My family and I recently booked four rooms here for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We had eight adults and six kids. The Inn Keeper Jim was helpful, very nice and made us feel at home. We brought appetizers with us and spent a wonderful couple of hours in the late afternoon on their view deck before going out to...

Stayed at Tucker Peak Lodge, what an extreme disappointment that began upon arrival/check in. If you enjoy staying in an individual’s private home and renting out a room this is the place for you. The views are nice but not worth the price you pay. We were informed while making the reservations, check in would be at 3:00 PM. We...

My husband and myself was in need of a get away to just relax and we enjoy Julian. This time we couldn't stay in town and my husband found this place. Our room was not ready, the housekeeper "running late" we had to wait 1 1/2 hours before the room was finally ready.. this 193 dollar night gave us a...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Upon reading your review, I have immediately contacted an electrician to inspect and correct the outlets in the room, as well as assess and and correct the AC unit. Being the new owners of the lodge, we appreciate your feedback and will absolutely do everything we can to make all...

Gorgeous sweeping views from the deck. Nice proprietor. Jacuzzi tub in cottage. Four poster bed. Assortment of complimentary extras you won't find elsewhere. Immaculate bathroom area. Big sitting area. There are even toys if you happen to bring kids! Or, if you just want a romantic evening, the door is locked, which is adjoining the main room in the house....

Just returned from a great trip to Julian. This house is gorgeous with oiled wood paneling throughout and all the amenities of home. Each room is distinct. The room we stayed in had a very comfortable bed on the ground floor and then a loft, reachable by ladder, with (2) kid-sized beds. Jim is a very friendly, heart-felt inn-keeper that...

We spent 2 nights at Tuckers Peak in a cute little cottage style room. It had complimentary keurig coffees, cider and tea as well as plenty of towels toiletries and ambiance! Our room came with a fireplace which we used extensively. The keeper of the lodge was extremely friendly and very helpful. He offered lots of history about the lodge...

We made reservations for three rooms; going with friends. When we arrived, the lobby area & great room was extremely cold. We were informed that we could not check in until 4pm, which was not a problem. The gatekeeper informed us that the house cleaner was unable to make it in, so he was in process of cleaning rooms. He...

Spent one night at Tucker Peak to see the Geminid meteor shower. I chose it for its hilltop location and large open deck, and it delivered - amazing view! Jim upgraded us for no extra charge to the large downstairs room (Tranquility) which has a door right onto the deck. The bed was very comfy, Jim invited us to help...
