Absolutely Amazing Experience!! Clean, Cozy & romantic getaway. We were up in the trees with nothing but hummingbirds & nature to disconnect with the world & reconnect with each other!! Linda & Lee are very hospitable. Breakfast was incredible & we will for sure be returning!! Highly recommended for couples & singles looking for a lovely quiet retreat!

After a big search on Yelp & Trip Advisor, I booked a room for two nights for Hubs birthday. I booked Rose's Shady Lady. The reviews for this B&B were fantastic. My expectations were high. Could this B&B meet my expectations? Being a huge foodie, the reviews for the breakfasts were off the map. Wikiup B&B is simply amazing! We...

Had a wonderful stay in the Willow Warren room! Linda and Lee were very accommodating as we had our very small wedding out on the back deck, and Linda was our witness. Also very delicious waffles, birds nests and boysenberry apple cider! Thank you, Linda and Lee!

Our first ever B&B experience and we were not disappointed! Beautiful themed rooms and gorgeous mountain scenery. The breakfasts were impeccable and the hosts Linda and Lee were the best. Highly recommend this for couples seeking a getaway from city life!

We really wanted to get away and just relax and this was the perfect place. Wonderful full breakfast that made the beginning of everyday special. We stayed in the Stargazer room. An astronomy themed room with a skylight and a private Jacuzzi outside. There was a small fridge and a microwave and coffeemaker. Plenty of plates, utensils and glassware. The...

This was our first bread and breakfast, our skyview room was amazing, I totally recommend this it seems the owners are selling the property I hope the next owners if they decide to keep the business going will do as good as Linda and lee, the only strong recommendation I have is bring water, food to munch on because nothing...

Wikiup is amazing!!! We stayed at the "stargazer" room, and it is designed to it's perfection! The room looks like a space shuttle! There is a sky viewing glass on the ceiling! Everything is extremely thoughtful, from the wall light to the fire place! The bed is extremely comfortable (one of the fancy mattresses definitely), and the sheet and towels...

My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing weekend here. We stayed in the Stargazer room which was small, cozy, and secluded. It offers a great view of the night sky from the private jacuzzi. It was worth climbing stairs for. Linda and Lee were very warm and friendly hosts. Even though we arrived an hour earlier than the check...

just enough outside of Julian to feel you are in your mountain retreat. We stayed in Shady Lady. The perfect room for a romantic getaway. We had a hummingbird feeder outside our room and we never tired of watching dozens of birds come get their liquid gold. Having your own wood fired hot tub was excellent. Bounteous food in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Julian, California's very romantic and secluded Wikiup Bed and Breakfast is located on four wooded hillside acres in a relaxed, rural setting. While at the B&B, enjoy the country life, only a mile from the historic mining town of Julian. However, the bustling city of San Diego is only an hour and 20 minutes away.Five wonderful guest rooms include all the amenities of a fine hotel, including large in-room spas or private out door hot tubs. Full and delicious breakfasts are your innkeeper's specialty. Awaken to scrumptious "country gourmet" feasts and enjoy a different creation every morning. Afternoon desserts are made available in the common area daily. Enjoy the breezes and shade covered decks by day, or unwind in the comfort of your hot tub or spa under the star-filled night skies. Walking paths, a restful swing, as well as fountains and a pond, encourage you to linger on the grounds and relax. The beautiful mountain atmosphere is perfect place to relax and forget about your busy life and hectic schedule. Llama feeding, swings, and the dreamy silence of the forest night make the Wikiup a favorite vacation getaway. ... more   less
