Went away for a baby moon to Timber Cove Resort, spent a lot of money for the Junior Suite, overlooking the ocean and cove. Upon arrival, we had a congratulations card and a bottle of champagne in the room. A little off on the champagne since I am pregnant! A coke or some sparkling water would of been better. The stay was nice. There is absolutely NOTHING to do around this resort. Fortunately we were there to stay in our room most of the time, but nothing to do. The grounds are small. The room was ok. Again for a Junior Suite and the $$ you pay for it, it's not that nice. It has a 180 view but the corner is a wall so it's not like a full landscape view. The bed is really IKEA like. My husband is a larger man and he had to delicately get in and out of the bed. It's one of those slat beds. Also, the bathroom is weird. The doors don't close all the way and when you have to "use" the restroom, you have to close all the sliding doors for privacy. This is also a dog friendly resort, which is cool, but there were many dogs unattended. We also got setup next to a room that left their dog in the room for 1+ hours and it barked non stop. Front desk took care of it, but there should be a rule of no dogs unattended. The food at the restaurant is ok. Not good. We fortunately brought food in from the grocery store and kept some in the mini fridge and ate off of that food, not the restaurants. It was nice to escape and have peace and quiet, but we won't be returning. Plus the road to get in is SO WINDY so if you get car sick easily, wouldn't suggest this resort.

We just got back from a 5 day stay at this hotel. Beautiful beautiful location. We stayed at the Ocean View Suite, it had a huge deck overlooking the sea. We spent a long time at the deck, eating outside, drinking wine, playing board games, just admiring the view. Its so peaceful and relaxing. The room was spacious, the bed comfy, very cozy suite with a fireplace. We also loved the decor. During the night, we would leave the deck door opened,, we could hear the waves and there was a nice breeze coming in the room. Yes, its expensive but in my opinion it was worth it. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious. We ordered room service everyday and it was super fast, around 20-30 minutes. As for activities, there’s some trail outside - we saw some deer which was pretty cool. We drove to a park near by to walk our dog - but we mostly stayed in the hotel relaxing. I’ll definitely come back!!

Wonderful location. Food is excellent although food service was consistently slow. Everyone is very nice and very dog friendly. However, at a room rate over $600 a night, not worth that. Their execution is not at a level to command those rates. I truly expect St. Regis, Ritz, Four Seasons, Viceroy at that rate. One person at the reception area, so hope the person in front of you does not have any issues. No one in the parking area (although was free). Bar was not always staffed when open, etc. Room had not been cleaned when we checked in and we had to point that out to them ( 5 pm, not a noon check in). But again, very pleasant stay and people h to $600/night

We have visited Timber Cove before and immediately fell in love. When we need to get away it is our #1 destination. The views are spectacular. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The ambiance is very relaxing. We love how quiet it is - so quiet we even sleep with our door open so we can hear the ocean waves. That is literally all you hear! We also love that it is a pet friendly place. Although we didn’t bring our Murphy dog, we appreciated all of the 4 legged guests and that they were so welcome here. The food is also really great. We have tried it all! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can always find something delicious. Room service is amazing! Quick and high quality. And finally, I can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone is awesome. Friendly and accommodating. It is very apparent they want you to feel welcomed and enjoy your stay. We will keep coming back to Timber Cove!

Had a fabulous overnight stay. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there, which was the only bummer but we did enjoy a cocktail in the lobby/bar area. I loved the records we could play in our room, and the board games and outdoor games as well. There’s a nice little trek along the property, and we enjoyed the views of the beautiful coast line. The food was tasty—we enjoyed room service to be a little more intimate. Woudl definitely recommend a stay for a fantastic experience.
