Great little motel about an hour and a half from yosemite national park. Me and my partner left the park late and found this place tucked away. Lovely friendly staff that were so helpful. We had a large upstairs room with a queen bed. Lovely and clean. We were only going to stay one night but had such a good...

Well maybe there's no gold but they are nice and clean rooms. Beds were real comfy which was a plus after all the driving I did! Reception desk was friendly and helpful. Got tips on where we could get something to eat really late. All in all it was a nice stay here. Parking lot filled but it was quiet...

The second night we were here, a herd of elephants directly above our ground-floor room kept stomping around even after the hotel manager called to ask them to keep it down. Bring ear plugs if you want to increase the odds of getting a decent night's sleep. The shower was an adventure unto itself, running hot and cold intermittently. On...

After entering Yosemite national park at night time and being forced to turn back due to inclement weather off the Tioga pass, we could not reach our hotel. We needed a place and fast and the Miners motel was just what we needed. It is clean , spacious , and family owned. Water pressure was superb and we felt lucky...

We had a pleasant 1 night stay here, the bed was comfy and the room had all the amenities you would expect from a motel. It was clean and neatly presented with a cabin like feel in our room. This place isn't in Jamestown itself so you do need to drive for food etc. But this place was half the...

This was a great hotel. It is basic but it was clean, large and very well maintained. We only stayed 1 night on our way to Lake Tahoe but overall it was exactly what we needed. The pool was also in very good condition and it was close to both Jamestown and Sonora.

Great value for money. We stopped here to break up the journey from San Fran to Yosemite. Jamestown looks like an old mining time, and was lovely to drive through. The hotel is located on the main road, the room was basic but clean and staff were friendly. The pool was an added bonus and there were only the 2...

This is our third time that we stayed at Miner's Motel. We have noticed that the owners have steadily been improving and updating their property. They have redid the outer pathway and stairs. New carpets (at least in the room where we stayed...the one with the cute teddy bear). Free wifi. Mini frig and microwave in the room. DirecTV. Swimming...

The rooms are nicer than the exterior of this property would lead you to expect. The carpeting was new. The bed was more comfortable than we had a Best Western down the road the night before. The towels were clean, but a little worn. We have a small dog which is why I think we were given a room nearer...
