Very disappointing compared to other Wyndhams we have stayed in. Bedding dirty, no breakfast included for the same price as one with breakfast, room smelled of urine, no glasses or coffee amenities in the room. This is on my do not return list
The carpet in the room needs deep cleaning shampoo. Very filthy. The swimming pool water is a little bit greenish color. Breakfast must be upgraded However, the staff members are all nice and pleasant to us.
I can’t believe the manager would allow this charge to happen considering all the business my company has given this location! Super 8 has the second worst quality towels right above Motel 6. My 37 dollars will probably buy 6-7 new towels, and they will still reuse the dirty towel after a wash. Yeah, it’s cheap, you get what you pay for at this location. The suites are actually decent. But I still rate super 8 Indio a terrible stay.
Hotel did nothing to fix this. Told me they would send sometime to clean it and that never happened. Had to follow up several times, and eventually they told me to handle it. This place is run by folks who really couldn't care less. Enjoy your stay!
was charged for 'black mark on bath mat'???? We absolutely did nothing of the sort. If the bath mat was dirty, wouldnt it be washed with all the other linens on a regular basis? No follow up as yet from hotel regarding refund , though my credit card company is handling the dispute.
This was a last-minute stop searching for a pet-friendly hotel on I-10. There was a 15-minute delay to check in, but the room was clean, the beds comfortable and plenty of dining choices nearby. We probably used up all our luck on this place.
Outside smelled like urine, the chair was falling apart, mold all over the bathtub, paint repairs all over the walls, sketchy extension cord for microwave and fridge, fridge was broken, when I finally found a staff member for ice, I was told the ice machine was broken, no resolve and staff went back to ignoring me, no one to checkout and they STILL have a $150 hold.on my credit card a week AFTER they already received payment.
There was alot of trouble getting anyone to check us in. Waited an hour before I left then came back 4 hours later and the same thing! No one was in the office! Had to use a card for the 250.00 deposit when it clearly said cash was exempted. Why? Because no one would be working till 2 the next day! Hire more people! Don't stay here. Not a great area either
This has been an ongoing issue since March of 2020. (To back track, we live in Canada). We had booked flights and bought tickets for a country festival in the area prior to the pandemic. After tickets were refunded for the festival because it was entirely cancelled (not changed), and our flights were cancelled, the last step was to reach out to Super 8 Indio for a full refund on our hotel ($1800). After bookings.com honored the refund given the circumstances that were out of our control we were told that that refund request (eventually sent 4 times over 4 months to this hotel) was made, we were to reach out to the Hotel to complete the process. After calls back and Forth with Crystal (the manager) who refused to honor the refund based on our cancelation and the requests provided to the hotel from bookings.com, Crystal stated "it is not my fault the festival was cancelled but you can still come and use your reservation and site see, I will not be issuing a refund". She didn't seem to understand that there is a travel ban in place and that we physically were not allowed to travel at all. Crystal was extremely rude and blunt with her responses and refused to accommodate circumstances that extend worldwide. Crystal then refused to give us any information on her GM aside from his name, I had to call back several times to finally get an email from Jay Mainthia and all I was provided with was firstname.lastname@example.org which has gone un-answered despite multiple follow ups over the course of 10 months. Jay Mainthia and Crystal still refuse to solve the issue and refuse to even answer phone calls in regards to this matter anymore. We have gone ahead and determined that super 8 as a chain and the specific hotel in general are going on blast on social media until this issue is resolved. Judging by the reviews below this is not the first time this is happened and unless there is a drastic management change at that location this will continue to happen. My worst state ever in 50 years, They are the most crooked bunch of people that run and owned this hotel and use their position to steal your deposit with unnecessary charges and bs reasons to take your deposit money. That’s why they require a $250 deposit, that way they can steal as much as they want and there is nothing you can do about it. I highly recommend staying away from this hotel under any circumstance, it is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and the people working there are the most Shystie people I’ve ever dealt with .
