I attended a writing workshop here and am dying to go back. Rodney and Ian are fabulous hosts who have created this cozy and comfortable Inn in an idyllic setting. The food was fabulous (but don't plan to stick to your diet). My room was simple yet comfortable and homey. I stayed in the Nancy room. The mattress is great,...

So close to the congestion and noise of the city yet you feel so far removed in this mountain hideaway. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The common areas in the main bldg are comfortable, warm, and inviting, and the breakfasts unbeatable. Also several real nice restaurants in the town center of Idyllwild and all within walking distance. We...

We stayed in the evergreen room. It was connected to the main house but also had its own entrance and small patio. It was on the first floor. It was a very cozy room with a big fireplace. The bed was extra comfortable and the sheets were wonderful. The breakfasts were very yummy. We had a peach French toast and...

A dream come true. Located in the forest just off the road the property has lots of places to relax and unwind with benches, seats, and hammocks under the tall pines. The accommodations were superb, nice comfortable bed, plenty of privacy, and a large roomy home atmosphere where gathering with the others at this B&B is easy. It is a...

My teenaged son and I had a wonderful time on our first trip to the Inn. Rodney and Ian are very generous and gracious hosts. The breakfasts each morning were scrumptious, and you can expect serious withdrawal symptoms when you return home. We will most definitely return and it can't be soon enough. :)

We stayed in a cozy room in the main building. The breakfasts were incredible: a tasty quiche, homemade berry cornbread, peach French toast and apple sausage. The egg dishes are made with eggs from their own entertaining chickens. This is a terrific place to get away and relax.

We have many choices we could choose to vacation, but Strawberry Creek Inn and the Strawberry Creek Bunkhouse in Idyllwild, CA is by far my family's most favorite place to vacation! The accommodations are always impeccable!! All of the staff are very friendly and provide great customer service!! Rodney and Ian are wonderful innkeepers who provide fabulous breakfast entrees!, while...

We stayed in the detached cottage rather than in the Inn itself. Although nicely appointed with antiques and knic-knacs and basically clean, we were very disappointed in a number of items. The jacuzzi tub requires special handling (read guest book notes for details); only dura-logs are allowed in the fireplace and they are only supplied for a limited number of...

Idyllwild is a nice place to visit. There are so many things to do, shops to visit, trails to hike and people are very friendly. The inn was beautifully decorated and well maintained. There were cozy nooks in which to sit and read, a comfortable rocking chair and a coffee table made from a sled! The breakfasts were to DIE...

The common room was fabulous with puzzles and books and checkers, and movies to take to your room. Our breakfasts were light and very tastey. The room had intricate, antique-loooking (I am NO expert) decor and lamps - was just a bit dusty in the ceiling areas. (Note: make sure your TV works before you let the Innkeeper out of...
