The park was extremely quiet compared to other parks that we visited. Space was level and hookups were fine. The bathroom facilities were adequate and clean. We go camping to get away from busy schedules so the scattered wifi. Was not an issue for us. Owner was very friendly 2 horses roamed the area along with their dog, Jack. Very...

Quick but great stop on our families first RV trip. Not far off the I-5 and well worth it. Definitely a place you can relax. All the spots are on a concrete pad with a picnic table and are nicely spaced between each other. Although there is no physical barrier between sites, they are at an angle in such a...

Hard to find a place close to I-5 that is beautiful and quiet as Blue Heron. The road out there for 7 miles is narrow and windy in parts, but it's worth the few moments of tight knuckles. Restroom is clean and with heated floors, nice when taking a shower on a cold morning. most sites back up to the...

OMG!!! What a pleasant surprise...so much more than we expected. Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Treated us just like one of the family...beautiful grounds, very clean restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. The resident horses were just a delight, meandering to our RV every morning for a special treat, all the while being gentle and calm...also, seeing the wild Mustangs come down...

The only good thing about this place is the restrooms and the river. They allow two horses to roam through the sites, water stinks, no phone or wifi or tv. They advertise a lake near by which is Iron Gate Resistor. This lake has pollution signs all over. I'd rather stay at a Motel 6.

The advertisements for this park worked! We arrived and liked what we saw, beautiful sites with level pads and easy hook ups, the river is gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful We SAW a blue heron and a couple of free range horses, a very peaceful park. However, there is no cell service, no cable or satellite television, and very,...

We had a quick get away, just 1 hour from home. Our first time there, it won't be our last. What a wonderful park, long wide level site, your motorhome looks right on the river. So very calm and restful. lots of wild life at you door,

We have been staying at the Blue Heron for 5 years since our motorhome was new. We have traveled the West Coast from San Diego to the Olympic Peninsula yearly and will always stay here. We find the location serene, peaceful and beautiful. Management has always been helpful, friendly and courteous. We love the fact that this is not one...

We have a brand new 20' RPOD trailer, live in Yreka, which is a few minutes down I5, and were looking forward to many quick getaways for the weekend. Beautiful spots right on the river where I could hang out in front of the trailer and relax while my husband fishes on the bank. Sadly, this will never happen. Only...

We were surprised that the RV park was 15 minutes off I-5, but the location was nice. It was right on the Klamath River. We used our Passport America card which got us a reduced the rate of $29 for the first night, but the check-in person said it was only good for 1 night. The second night was $59....

“If you have a motorhome phone ahead for a site on the river. If there aren't any, or if you have a fifth wheel or trailer, don't go. Its not worth the drive.”
