We were told about this hidden resort area by some friends as a place we must visit. So glad we made the drive. Lovely place to stop in to the stay or just come to for the day. We enjoyed a late morning tea whilst looking out over the water then went for a walk down to the beach. Had a nice cold drink before leaving. Would have had lunch but we were a bit early and wanted to explore more areas in the area. Great area for family gatherings with a swimming pool or beach area available for outside guests as well as staying ones.

Wow! Such a beautiful place. We visited for lunch the meals were great, and came out quickly. The kitchen was more than helpful in accommodating a nut allergy for a young child. Amenities were clean and drinks were cold! Staff were attentive ( expect the young girl with the long dark hair who looked like she didn't want to be there) Would definitely recommend.

The food, the views, the staff... Just Amazing! We came for a day visit and quickly decided to add Cape Gloucester to one of our next stays. The food at The Oar Bar-Bistro was absolutely delicious, and came out so fast, the staff were all fantastic, and the views were amazing! I'd highly recommend adding this to a place to visit/stay.

Cape Gloucester resort was a fantastic discovery! We stopped for lunch. It was relaxed, casual, and on the water. The bar and restaurant overlooks the pool with the beach just beyond. I recommend the calamari 😉
