We stayed at the Raford Inn for three nights during a California road trip. We chose it on the basis of the great Trip Advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed! Dane and Rita are fantastic hosts, and from the minute we arrived we were made to feel really welcome. It sounds like a cliche, but it felt like we were...

My wife and I stayed at the Raford Inn for three midweek nights in late July, after attending a wedding north of LA. We stayed in the Angelica room, which was perfect with its private entrance and outside sitting area. Our first night there, we checked in just in time for wine and cheese (served 5:30-7:00 p.m) and met some...

We stayed here for two nights during our one week bike ride through Russian River. Of the four places we stayed at, this one really stood out. The house is a historical one that is maintained by Dane, Rita and their merry helpers to perfection. You oversee acres of vineyards. The busy road down below quiets down in the afternoon...

Stayed in Blueberry Room and absolutely loved it. Wish we lived closer so we could go again but its a little long from New Jersey. The only item we wanted to point out is that the breakfasts got very tiring, very fast. For 3 days in a row we had quich and sausage-they were different kinds of quich and sausage...

We stayed here last year for a 3 days and this year went back for a week. This is a great place to stay. You are off the beaten path a bit. Just far enough out from downtown Healdsburg and in a great jumping off point to the coast, and surrounding towns. The ride in from West Dry Creek road...

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic weekend at the Raford Inn. This was our first B&B so we were a little nervous--not sure if this would be for us. Our stayed turned out to be one of the most enjoyable vacations we have experienced. Our room was spacious and full of lovely antiques that made us feel...

This is the second time we stayed at the Raford... within the space of a week. Now that's saying something! To put it simply; the Raford Inn was the equivalent of home -- friendly, warm, cosy, beautiful, relaxing... The first time we stayed there, it was only for one night and immediately fell in love with the place. Due to...

The Raford Inn was perfect. The hosts are super nice and passionate about what they do - both running the B&B and their small winemaking operation. We learned a lot from them and enjoyed their wonderful breakfasts. The location was great - a short drive to the very cute little town of Healdsburg and not very far to millions of...

Only had two nights to enjoy this inn and our visits with Dane and Rita. They certainly know how to make people feel like welcome guests to their home. The inn is charming, and we greatly enjoyed our spacious room. It is hard to say enough good about the staff. Everyone is so friendly and pleasant. We wish we could...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This classic Victorian Plantation landmark manor house, built in 1880, once presided over a huge empire of hops. Converted to an intimate country bed and breakfast in 1980 it sits upon a knoll above an unspoiled Russian River vineyard valley ringed by redwood forested mountains. Lovingly preserved it is a place of quiet beauty in the hills of Healdsburg Wine Country. Return now to a time and place that has not quite yet gone by. ... more   less
