I stayed in room 28 which is an annex building of the main house. I paid 145.00 with tax on hotwire.com. This room had a bed that misspell have been a board. The was big but so plain jane. The two arm chairs that were in the room were stained and it looks the the walls have not been painted...

Parts of the property are a bed and breakfast as advertised. Adjacent to it, "sold" as a B&B is what amounts to a motel. Not what we were going for. Would have been nice to have "clearer" descriptions on-line. We booked and paid in advance. After we got there, we discovered, because of light bookings, people who just showed up...

Zaballa House is allegedly the oldest house in Half Moon Bay. We found the rooms very clean spacious, most if not all are accessed via stairs. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning superb, I have never seen so much fresh fruit outside of a supermarket. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, and a great...

Arrived late at night. Easy to find. Free parking. Friendly night check-in. Room was in further newer wing, but, it was huge! Spacious, clean bathroom. Widescreen. Delicious, fresh breakfast shared with other guests.

Much better for an overnight stay after a long trans Atlantic flight than a featureless Airport Hotel in our view. But wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than the one night that we did... The location is central in a funky little town, and the original building has character and quirkiness. However, many of the rooms would appear to be...

Great little B&B, loads of character, spacious well equiped rooms with tv, settee, tea/coffee making facilities. Friendly helpful staff, we had run out of milk one night and they couldn't be more helpful in providing us with some more for the morning tea. Bedding changed midway through our 5 night stay which was a pleasant surprise. One of the best...

The bed sagged in the middle, there was no hot water in the morning, the staff started loud banging and yelling at 6:00 AM, guests had parties next door at 12:00 PM, the source of heat was a fireplace, thin curtains mounted backwards, no mirror above sink, a dribble of water so forget about the "jacuzzi" tub and no mount...

The week before Halloween, with our landlord driving us insane with work on the house, our puppy going through the equivalent of the "terrible two's," and various other stresses in life coming to a head, we decided we just needed to get away. We didn't want to go far, but we wanted to feel like we had.... Thankfully, Half Moon...

We checked in for the long pumpkin festival weekend that we volunteer at every year. Had problems prior to our arrival with the reservations being wrong, were told we would need to move to another room for the last night (our third). Was looking forward to the charm of staying in an historic B&B. After a lengthy car ride we...

My girl and I stayed here for her b-day in September '15 and we didn't find anything too special about the place. It was downtown and close to everything so that was a plus. The social wine/cheese hour wasn't bad either. The room itself was pretty small and there was no television (we didn't mind that). The breakfast was pretty...
